More European gigs!
Two more tour dates have gone on sale on-line for Berlin, Germany on 3rd and 4th of July. Look at www.eventim.de (search for Radiohead), but these dates have not been confirmed by the band. The people at the box office seemed fairly confused and the venue didn’t know anything about it - to be safe I would advise you to get some assurance that they will be playing or that you’ll get a refund from the box office itself.
Other rumours of a headlining appearance at the Roskilde Festival in Denmark between 29th June and 2nd July are floating around, but they they are definitely unconfirmed at the moment. Final confirmation of the July/August European tour dates will appear soon.
Recording of songs for the fourth album is continuing “in leaps and bounds”, the final recording should be finished in the next few months, and then it is down to mixing and final tweaking.
According to Parlophone, the final release date of the record still seems to be on course for September, to coincide with full promotional duties and a UK tour.
Stanley Donwood, Radiohead’s resident webmaster and art designer has also just opened his own website, slowly downward at www.slowlydownward.com
