No Bjork/Yorke duet

Posted on April 18th, 2000.

Bjork has NOT recorded a duet with Thom Yorke, according to a spokesman for Bjorks UK label, One Little Indian. “Those rumours seem to appear out of nowhere. Some bartender probably saw Björk and Thom together and rang one of the tabloids.” It was believed that Björk had recorded the track for the soundtrack of the the film Dancer in the Dark, directed by Dogme founder Lars Von Trier and starring the Icelander. But the singer has recorded a duet, with French movie icon Catherine Deneuve.
