The Beta Band will tour with Radiohead on their U.S. tour this Summer. Radiohead (Thom especially) are big fans of The Beta Band and invited them.
Confirmed for the line up for the Oxford gig so far is an acoustic performance by Beck, Sigur Ros (who supported Radiohead on some of the dates of their European tent tour of 2000) and Humphrey Lyttelton and his band!. Further acts to announce, including local Oxford bands. [thanks Caffy]
I’ve changed some of the information in the tour dates. Apparently a ‘Butler Field’ does exist in Chicago. ”Soldiers Field” is a bit to large for a venue. Gonna stick with Butler Field for now. For the ones who want to know: It’s the big area in Grant Park, right off the lake downtown. Plus the Rock am Ring info is corrected.
