Radiohead World Tour Will Happen

Posted on March 27th, 2002.

Radiohead will be embarking on a world tour and plan to showcase and record a new album en route. A source close to the band revealed to Xfm that they intend to undertake a full world tour in addition to the eight European dates. The band will be previewing a large amount of previously unheard songs on an as-yet-to be announced world tour. Apparently the band will be using the concerts as an opportunity to try out these songs in a live environment, and each night of the tour will be recorded so various aspects of the songs can be used when piecing together the new album. This is a recording technique they also employed while composing OK Computer, where the band took their mobile studio to demo new songs during an American tour. [from xfm]
