Phil raises £18,000 for Samaritans

Phil Selway looks set to raise over £18,000 for the Samaritans after running the London Marathon yesterday (April 14). The drummer took time out from working on the follow-up to ‘Amnesiac’ to run the event for the charity, that he has been involved with since the ’80s. He hoped to complete the circuit in under four hours, but finally got round in a respectable four and a half. [from nme]
