Radiohead Mix CD

Posted on November 5th, 2002.

At the moment there’s a a Radiohead Mix CD floating around that sounds like it was done using all vinyl and plays more like a hip hop “pause tape” than a club dj mix. The scratching and mix’s are excellent as the
artist crossfades between live versions of songs into regular (jonnys signature creep part is replaced by record scratching over the acoustic version of ‘creep’), uses a lot of effects (chaos pad-esque), uses b sides, and even fakes people out with an old 60’s psych band J.K. & Co.’s ‘Fly’ since it sounds so much like Thom. Early electronic genius Raymond Scott is also scattered throughout it. The CD has the Minotaur logo on the cover and only leaves an inconspicuous email address, hoarserotorvator@yahoo.com, that i imagine would do mail orders.
