Jonny on the message board

Jonny made an appearance on the official message board today. Jonny said he’s ‘Happiest yet’ with the new album: “I will being there is one of the reasons. I think we got down some beatiful songs. They’re all quite short, but that’s probably good, right ?” On the forthcoming b-sides, Jonny said: “THe b-sides are all very good. *smug smile*, but it’snice to have good b-sides”. Jonny also commented on the album title, ‘Hail To The Thief’: “It’s a line from the song 2+2=5, a good line, too”.

Someone asked if Jonny plays the banjo. Jonny: “It’s on the Bodysong soundtrack. But I’m not *convinced* it’s welcome with rh. I like ‘em. They can sound sinister. You know Violent Femmes ‘Country death song’ ?”
