Nigel Godrich not producing Strokes album
Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich will not be working on the new Strokes album. The band decided this after after a trial period of sessions intended for the group’s second RCA album. The band will return to the studio at the end of the month with producer Gordon Raphael, who was behind the boards for its 2001 debut, “Is This It,” according to manager Ryan Gentles. “All parties involved had a lovely experience and Nigel and the band really did get on famously,” Gentles adds. “It just wasn’t meant to be in the studio, I suppose.” [from billboard]
