Radiohead and Golf?

Posted on May 28th, 2003.

From the Montreal Gazette: Montrealer Craig Matthew, a Canadian golfer, is swinging to the music on The Canadian Tour. Matthew, who is represented by IMG Canada, recently signed a deal with EMI
Music Canada and as a result will be wearing golf attire featuring five of his favourite artists: Radiohead, Massive Attack, Ben Harper, Blur and The Dandy Warhols. To help launch the deal, Matthew was at the Lionhead Golf and Country Club in Toronto yesterday morning to give a golf clinic.”I’m really excited with this partnership,” Matthew said. “Music has long been a key element in my mental preparation before and during golf events. During my spare time, I’m further influenced by music, in recording my own songs and playing the guitar.” [thanks Kelly]
