EMI Netherlands purchase air time to show video in full

EMI Netherlands have purchased commercial air time for several ten thousands of euros to air the new Radiohead video ‘There There’ in full.
The video (4.49 minutes) will be shown in full on Friday June 13th on Nederland 3 at 22:45 hrs, although the video is available at several music stations. It’s the first time a record company bought commercial air time to broadcast a video in the Netherlands.

According to J. de Groot of EMI Netherlands this campaign has been triggered by “the progressive and innovative attitude of the band. Through this campaign we will stay cloese to the ‘claim to fame’ of Radiohead; being innovative without making concessions”. [thanks Bert & Mieke, source - in dutch]
