There’s a tour diary online of Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks touring with Radiohead: “I almost feel like I don’t even need to do more than one update during this tour, ‘cuz I could write forever just about the first night, but I’ll try. O.K., where to begin. We, the Jicks, are traveling in one 15-seat passenger van. Radiohead are traveling in four tour busses and five 18-wheel trucks. Our crew is Gail, our guitar tech, and Jason, our tour manager/FOH sound guy. Radiohead’s crew fills the first two pages of their tour book. And Thom Yorke’s cell phone isn’t listed in there, so don’t even ask.” [read it in full, thanks michael]
