BODYSONG N-A RELEASE: FEBRUARY 24TH

Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood will see his score for the U.K. documentary “Bodysong” released Feb. 24 in North America via Capitol. The album was released late last month via Parlophone internationally. The film, which opens Dec. 5 in the U.K., was named best British documentary last week at the British Independent Film Awards. “Most film score writing demands discipline,” Greenwood said this summer. “You have to use click-tracks, and provide music that makes its point in, say, 20 seconds — and even leaves spaces for dialogue. This wasn’t true with ‘Bodysong,’ which meant I could let musicians play at tempos that felt right. So I had the luxury of just concentrating on trying to put some kind of mood across.” [from billboard]
