Reviews
A review of Monday’s Maida Vale show is online at 3voor12.nl (in Dutch).
Rolling Stone mentions, in their listing of “Hail…” as one of the top fifty albums of the year; “Hail wasn’t exactly Radiohead’s anticipated return to rock; instead, the band simply turns down the volume on the electronics and lets the songwriting drift to less chaotic, more atmospheric realms. But on the singles “There, There” and “Go to Sleep,” the album comes into scary focus: guitars swell to arena-worthy crescendos, supporting songs that demand repeated exposure to reveal themselves. And on this past summer’s tour, Radiohead proved again that they’re the best band in the world.” [thanks Jonathan]
And there’s a review of one of Christopher O’Riley’s gigs in the Palm Beach Post. The show featured some Radiohead songs in the encore. Have a read.
ShowBiz Ireland has an article and photos from the Point Depot gig [thanks Alex & Fluffel]
