Radiohead played ‘Kid A’, ‘Nice Dream’ and ‘Planet Telex’ on the second night at the Intex in Osaka, Japan. Thom dedicated ‘Myxomatosis’ to Dick Cheney. Ed was celebrating his birthday in Osaka. After a few songs Colin pointed at Ed and said “Birthday boy”. Ed received a ‘Happy Birthday’ from parts of the crowd and Thom asked: “So how old are you?” Ed replied with “.. erm.. 30″. Thom said: “Oh that was very showbiz of me”. Colin pointed out it was actually 36. For a full setlist, check the gigography.
Also in Osaka, a new song in the soundcheck on both days at the Intex. Next (and the last) two Japanese gigs are at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba (near Tokyo) on Saturday and Sunday. [thanks neozero, zankou, will, sayoko & mandy]
