Robby Road Steamer, who celebrates the release of his debut CD, “Okay Computer,” is the brainchild of musician and comedian Rob Potylo. “It took off,” he says, sitting on the first floor of the Hong Kong in Harvard Square with D’Amico after a Studio gig. “I was just making fun of all these things you see going on with hard-core and heavy metal – just the stupidest things would come out of these people’s mouths, and they weren’t trying to be funny.”
On his album title’s similarity to Radiohead’s “OK Computer”: “You know what? It wasn’t done right the first time around, so let’s bring it back to the USA where it belongs.” [from the Boston Globe, thanks Alex]
