In these times when Radiohead are more or less doing nothing, we need to entertain ourselves. So, here’s a series called ‘At Ease Project’ for all you creatives out there. First one will be a Photoshop contest. You’ve probably seen it done before on news (or newsrelated) sites and I thought it would be a nice idea to start one on ateaseweb.com as well.
For those who missed all that, here’s what it’s all about. Your assignment is to edit a photo in Photoshop (or any other image editing software). You can only use the given photo, but you can do whatever you want with it. Copy, paste, mix it with other pics, use every filter you can… as long as the result worth sending in. I can make a list of guidelines, but I guess you can all imagine what can be done and what not. So, keep it nice and civil, use your talent and sense of humour. Link it to current events or whatever you think is appropriate.
First photo to work with is made by Rick of Thom Yorke at the Fylingdales demo. Click on the image for a larger version. Please keep in mind that the result will be resized to fit (width: 375 pixels) on the site, so the best ones can be posted on ateaseweb.com.
