Nigel Godrich: “We did our best”

Nigel Godrich, the producer of the new Band Aid single, has hit out at criticism that stars were doing the song for publicity reasons. “Reading the tabloids, I can’t believe that people are so cynical.” Said Godrich, who also produces Radiohead and Travis. “They cannot even see the good intentions behind it”. Godrich told 6 Music, “It was a little bit half baked, but we did our best. People worked their backsides off”. [thanks Mandy]
