Band Aid 20 goes in at number one
Band Aid 20’s ’Do they know it’s Christmas?’ has gone straight to the top of the UK singles chart. The song, which has even been purchased by Tony Blair is officially one of the biggest selling singles of the year, selling in the region of 300,000 copies within a week. The track, which features a host of superstars including members of Radiohead, is now tipped to remain at Number One until Christmas. [from NME]
