Stanley Donwood Audiobooks available now
We had to wait a while, but Stanley Donwood has made his Audiobook avaialable at his shop. Two stories by Stanley Donwood (’My Giro’ & ‘Wage Packet’) are read by Ric Jerrom on CD in a letterpress-printed card wallet. Running time is approximately 45 minutes. One piece of advise though: ‘Do not listen to the second story whilst eating’.
You may be mildly diverted to know that my promises, though often forgotten and neglected for some time are usually adhered to. More prints have been added to the Manufactory’s stock, and, at last, so has a spoken-word CD, which you will find in the ‘Books &c.’ department. And the ‘weird thing’ I mentioned here several long months ago is almost in manufacture. I can further promise that an entire range of visual impedimenta will be available here with the launch of ‘LONDON VIEWS’, towards the end of May 2006, when there will be an exhibition in a gallery that used to be a shop supplying sado-masochistic paraphenalia in Soho in London in England in Europe
[thanks Tanner]
