Dominoes with Jonny

Jonny dropped by at the offical Radiohead message board confessing he has lost at dominoes. It seemed it really bothered the poor man. The only Radiohead related comment Jonny made was: “Rumours of my banjo playing are greatly exagerated.”

Here’s more on the domino fiasco:

“I’ve jost lost very badly at dominoes (with my cruel wife) and part of the act of losing entailed confessing as much on the message board. Which I’ve now done. Oh, the shame! I REALLY lost.

I play with her uncles sometimes. It’s like goodfellas. Lot’s of slamming dominoes, and games that stop after 3 rounds, because they’ve worked out what everyone else has (and I’m baffled as hell.)

You’ve got to love games.

Threre’s a word, ‘redatt’, I think from somewhere in southeast asia, meaning ‘unlikely to participate in after dinner games’. Describes so many people. Not me!

It’s a noble pasttime. All of them. Except trivial pursuit.

Of course I had all the doubles (disadvantage) and she had all the 5’s. And she cheats. Probably.
