Radiohead in London - Night 1 [Videotape debuts]
Radiohead are playing their first night in London of their European May tour. This is the first of two gigs at the Hammersmith Apollo. As usual we’ll be doing live updates - because we have nothing better to do. At 20:40 (UK Time, the band kick off with Videotape. Which is yet another new opener and the debut of this song. [found it at finefinemusic.com] Just before the band started the second encore with Bangers ‘N Mash, Thom said: “A special thank you to all of you who bought a ticket”. - we will figure out what that means later. Thom didn’t sing the second verse of Let Down. The second encore had the full band on stage watching Thom play ‘I Want None Of This’ for the second time this tour. Halfway through Thom shouted ‘Shut up you cunt’ to a loud fan. ‘Everything in its right place’ closed the set. [thanks to Grant & Jasmine for the live updates]
