Radiohead news: cleaning out the mailbox

Posted on June 24th, 2006.

As announced earlier, Thom Yorke’s The Eraser will get several previews on radio stations worldwide. For those in Ireland: Dave Fanning will be previewing The Eraser on Monday evening on his RTE 2fm radio show. [thanks Michael]

Remember when David Cameron said that Thom Yorke & Jonny Greenwood played Fake Plastic Trees especially for him at the Koko show? Anyway, here’s a spoof version of Radiohead’s Creep with a David Cameron impressionist singing reworked lyrics – it basically takes the piss out of David Cameron and his love for all things of current trend (of which Radiohead is definitely one). [thanks Tarek]

Check GigWise for a review of the Bonnaroo festival and Radiohead in particular. Same thing: SomethingGlorious.

As reported right here, Arcade Fire were at the Radiohead show in Montreal. Check Win’s section of the Arcade Fire blog where he talks about meeting Radiohead after the show.
