Tomorrow, Radiohead will play the final show of their 2006 tour. The gig at the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam follows a series of European festival appearences.
Radiohead had to cancel their second Amsterdam show (fourth of the current tour), which was immediately rescheduled for August 28th. On this tour Radiohead played more than a dozen of new songs on both the European leg as well as the North American leg of the tour.
After taking a break in July, Radiohead returned in August to play festivals in Europe. Starting off in Hungary (Sziget Festival) and ending in Paris (Rock en Seine), Radiohead haven’t played that many ‘new songs’ as they did on their non-festival shows, instead Creep returned to the setlist. So, what can we expect tomorrow?
Deerhoof will be supporting the band at the Heineken Music Hall. Radiohead are set to play at around 21:00 hours and will hopefully turn this into a great evening for all the people that had to rearrange their plans for the last minute cancellation in May.
Will we get the same festival set? Is Creep on the setlist? Are we getting a big batch of new songs? Any tracks from The Eraser? Or even rarely played old ones? Go ahead and speculate here.
And for some fresh pictures from the band, go here.
