As read in the New Yorker, there is a North American premiere coming up of Jonny Greenwood’s Popcorn Superhet Receiver. The classical piece will be played as part of Ronen Givony’s Wordless Music series. This will be the second time the piece will be performed by a full orchestra.In the London Paper, Spank Rock listed his favourite songs and mentioned Thom Yorke’s ‘The Eraser’ (the song) and said a remix is coming up: “We just did a remix of this track. It’s not out yet but we’ve taken a really good song and made it sexy”Channel 4 teletext reports on Cajun Dance Party saying they signed to XL Records after a chance meeting with Thom Yorke in a clothes shop.”I bumped into him, totally random, the week before we met XL,” Daniel Blumberg told Teletext. “Thom’s solo album was on XL, and he said they were perfect.” The singer added: “Thom told me we were going to get loads of attention, and XL were perfect at shielding us from industry bullshit.”Blue Man Group member Wes Day postd his iPod top 5 on al.com: 3.
