Thom: Radiohead temporarily invisible

Posted on July 4th, 2007.

Thom posted on Dead Air Space, with a mysterious message regarding the developments on LP7, but did post about an online video march for The Big Ask and Britain’s new Prime Minister Gordon Brown.

blank space

things are quiet here right now.

we are unable to explain.

nothing can be revealed.

we have not disappeared.

merely become invisible.

for a short time. we may be hiding in the woods.

meanwhile thebigask has set up an online video march
to hastle the government to commit to cutting our CO2.
which is a good idea i think. and you can post your own message.
so i’ll have to do that. once i’ve found me camera.

ever since Gordon Brown became PM they have gone a little quiet on this subject.
i do hope rumours of Mr Brown lack of interest in climate change aren’t true.
we have don’t have time such crap.

Thom

I hope that they’re hiding in the woods of Ommen (NL) ’cause then I bump into them next weekend :P

It means they’ve finished recording and are negotiating a contract, and therefore can’t talk about the album yet.

Err, hopefully.

I completely agree with Fastnet. Get the damn album out! I am sick of listening to the poorly recorded live versions of the new material. I WANT MY RADIOHEAD! :)

I think that means that the album is recorded and they are taking a step back to get perspective. They may be letting Nigel mess with it for awhile. I just hope they don’t come back to it and hate it all and start from scratch.

-or-

it could be an ambiguous message like “Have you seen this man?” before the Eraser release (Cnut holding back the tide).

Honestly, i think that this album will be released by 08 at the earliest, but i KNOW that this album is going to be incredible, and as much as this wait sucks, it will be worth it
