Jonny Greenwood: Please be patient

Jonny Greenwood just let us know through Dead Air Space that the massive interest in Radiohead’s new album ‘In Rainbows’ has caused some problems with pre-ordering. Not to worry, w.a.s.te. are trying to let the site run smoothly.

Jonny Greenwood: “Just to let you know – mel called to say that w.a.s.t.e are working on the current gear-grinding at inrainbows.com….it’s getting busy in there – busier than they expected.

So if you please bear with us, it should get cleared out soon. I sound like a bouncer. Get behind the rope. No denim. Thanks for your patience with the site + interest in the record.”

Same goes for ateaseweb.com… The unexpected announcement has caused severe problems on the servers on Monday. This means the site may load slow. But we’re trying everything we can to improve the site’s performance.

    i hope they get it figured out. i preordered my discbox today, and my confirmation page was missing my name and address, and i was never sent a confirmation email… but my credit card was charged.

    i hope that $81 wasn’t just sent off into space.

    If this album and concept is as huge as I truly believe it will be; we are seeing HISTORY. This is very much a Beatle-esque advance in the way we will listen to music.

    The boards are stuck in slow motion. I don’t really know what to do in terms of how to buy it. 80 dollars? :P ….I don’t even have a record player….And I’m somewhat disappointed by the details of lp7…but I haven’t even gotten it yet so who knows? This could be one of their (dare I say it) final albums…I shall hope and hope and hope.

    Pretty much every Radiohead-related website has been running especially slow today, and I’ve seen quite a few articles about how the new album’s being marketed. This is pretty amazing stuff, it feels good to be a Radiohead fan…

    I didn’t receive a confirmation e-mail either. But as far as I know the confirmation page that was shown has the same value. My ordernr. is on it, and that’s mostly all that is needed.

    Hmmm… I didn’t even get that.
    When I got up today, there was a “duplicate confirmation order” email that said I had accidentally ordered a duplicate copy, but it still didn’t have my name and addy on it. Hopefully they will get it worked out soon, I sent them an email.

    Good Day, I have not received the confirm email yet Jonny. I entered my info x2 and it came up with my card info but not my address, etc. (this was on 10/1) I hope it all went through. I hesitate entering that info again… Thanks in advance for checking into this for me. Will I hear from anyone about this?
