Radiohead are webcasting… (’just testing’)
Our beloved ‘black swan’ on the ateaseweb.com message board posted a link on the boards with the words ‘doing a little research’ and instructions to open up a stream.
It turns out that Radiohead are webcasting (or “experimenting with our server…”) from Oxford right now. Currently it’s the Nigel Godrich and the band (Colin, Jonny and Thom) DJ’ing in all colours of the rainbow. For anyone who keeps track of the playlist, please post them in the comments. It can’t all be disco hits like Donna Summer’s ‘State Of Independence’ or ‘Let the Music Play’ by Shannon, Colin
At Ease mb user tjaredfriend recorded a bit from the ‘testcast’:

I hope some generous fan is recording these streams, for those of us who’ve got to work while our UK friends play.

I won’t be home from work ’til 5:00. So somebody better put this thing up on youtube after it’s aired! ![]()

youtube’s not ideal for quality but it’s perfect for accessiblity - pretty much everyone will be able to see it at some point, whereas I hardly know anyone that got this test to work, complete with sound.

Wow, Nigel looks cute.
So does Colin.
Too bad I missed this.
How do people rip webcasts anyway?

Oh, man! I love that song “Let the Music Play”! It reminds me of when I was a child, listening to whatever my brothers were listening to or whatever music videos they were watching on TV. Brings back such a great feel!
