Radiohead nominated at NME Awards
Radiohead have been nominated at this year’s NME Awards. The band have scored three nominations, while Artic Monkeys received the most: seven chances to win a prize at awards show of the British magazine.
Most important nomination is the one for Best Album. ‘In Rainbows’ has to compete with the latest albums from Arctic Monkeys, Babyshambles, The Enemy and Klaxons. Thom Yorke is up for the ‘Hero of the year’ award and the band is also nominated in the ‘Best Band Blog’ category.
You can cast your vote at the NME Awards website till Monday February 25. The award show is on February 28 at Indigo2 in north Greenwich, London.
In the meantime, Arctic Monkeys have won the Pop Music prize at the South Bank Show Awards, beating Radiohead.
