Oasis although not deserving of the top spot(neither is Radiohead) are definetley a great band. These annoying art rocker critics need to relax. Oasis does something completley different than radiohead do.They write catchy, unforgettable pop hooks(look at their continued popularity 14 years after their first album. Radiohead which is another great band is more a ground breaking innovative band. Both are great they just do different things. Whats with all this hate. Oasis although

Maybe when you ask someone what their favourite british album is, it gets them thinking a certain way. Oasis, Blur, stone roses etc are all very british so its an obvious train of thought to follow.
