Radiohead to play free radio gig
Radiohead have signed up to play a free concert for BBC Radio 2 and will also record a series of interviews ahead of their UK tour.
Fans can apply for tickets over the phone but other BBC radio networks will also be giving them away on air. Recipients will be chosen randomly. Radio 2 head of music Jeff Smith said: “You’d be a fool to miss the concert,” which takes place in London on 1 April.
The show will be held at the BBC’s Radio Theatre, inside its Broadcasting House HQ in central London.
Tickets are free and will be allocated at random. You can apply for a maximum of one pair of tickets per household, and you must make your own way to and from the event. Fans can apply for tickets until Thursday by calling 08700 100 200. Lines are only open from 2100 on Monday 10 March until 2200 on Thursday 13 March
‘Radiohead at the BBC’ will also provide unprecedented access to one of Britain’s most innovative bands with interviews and interactive coverage before and during this exclusive show for the BBC.
You’ll be able to hear the band’s live set during Mark and Stuart’s show on April 1st. Earlier in the day the band will be talking to Steve Wright.

I’ve applied for my ticket. Was pretty straight forward.
I highly doubt this is an April Fools Joke. Mainly because it is not April 1st. April Fools Jokes are normally played on April 1st, not a month before.
