As reported earlier, Radiohead will be making several appearances at the BBC next month. To clarify some confusion here’s a rundown of is going on of Radiohead at the BBC.
Radiohead will be coming to visit the BBC radio studios on Tuesday April 1st. On the day they will play two special performances from the BBC Radio Theatre.
The first, a matinee performance, from which tracks will be played on 6 Music’s Steve Lamacq show between 4-7pm. The second gig will be broadcast live on Radio 2′s Radcliffe and Maconie show between 8-10pm that evening. Radio 1′s Colin Murray will also play tracks from the Matinee gig on a special In The Company of Radiohead on April 14.
In addition to the gigs, the band will pop up around the stations for a few interviews throughout the day, the main one being on Radio 2′s Steve Wright show.
As we speak the phone lines are still open to apply for tickets for the Radclifffe and Maconie gig, but this does close tonight (Thursday) at 10pm. The number to call is: 08700 100 200
On Monday’s Steve Lamacq show he will announce how to apply for tickets to the matinee show, while Colin Murray will also run a separate ticket giveaway for the same performance from his Radio 1 programme.
All tickets are free and will be allocated at random. (Calls are charged at 8p per minute from BT landline, other networks may vary.
