Bat For Lashes & Modeselektor up for Euro support

After the confirmation of the Liars support slots for the first leg of US tour, announcements for the European line-up of the Radiohead shows are coming in.

Bat For Lashes has been confirmed to support Radiohead on their shows in Dublin (June 6 & 7), Paris (9/10), Barcelona (12), Nimes (14/15), Milan (17,18), London (24/25), Glasgow (27), Manchester (29) and Amsterdam (July 1), while Modeselektor will open for the band in Berlin (July 8).

Last year, Thom Yorke posted a Bat For Lashes track on his iTunes playlist, saying: “Natasha Khan of Bat for Lashes ain’t scared. I love the harpsichord and the sexual ghost voices and bowed saws. This song seems to come from the world of grimm’s fairytales, and I feel like a wolf.”

Modeselektor was in that same playlist (‘Silikon’), calling the duo ‘genius’, after which they collaborated on Modeselektor’s latest album ‘Happy Birthday’ for the track ‘The White Flash’ and Modeselektor remixing Thom Yorke’s ‘Skip Divided’.
