Radiohead At Ease: Weird & Fishy

Posted on April 21st, 2008.

For the past week, the site has been acting up. All the news posts from ateaseweb.com refused to show up.

Despite all the wonderful technology, things sorta messed up on this end. I’ve also heard reports of various problems and in browsers on different operating systems. I’m sure not everything is fixed yet, but please report back if things are still not working. For most people, the news posts should be visible again. If not, please let me know.

I use Firefox and the site always shows up blank. Not so in Internet Explorer. This has been an on again off again issue for many months for me…

Not sure if it’s related but sometimes I see like 9 updates show up on the front page after a week of nothing and they’re all dated one day apart?

Didn’t work for me either, but I deleted all the cookies and private information in one of my browsers, reloaded and now I can see it :) Weird…

i had a similar problem and then someone on the board suggested to get rid of a few firefox extensions (i use firefox on windows xp), so i got rid of a bunch of those and ever since things have been fine.
i must say though - the site is PACKED these days with external widgets and ads etc., i’m sure that would cause a lot of problems especially for older browsers and systems.
no offence adriaan - still LOVE the site :-)

I have the same problems as a few others above - I won’t get any news updates for about 10 days, and then there’s a deluge. It’s been happening for a few months now.

The index continues to show up blank for me in Firefox on XP. I cleared my cookies, but still no go. I’m using IE (shudder!) to browse right now. However, individual news page URLs show up fine in Firefox. Go figure?

The index shows up blank in Firefox on XP, even after clearing cookies. Individual news URLs work fine though.

Yup, same as Alex here. Individual links work, but homepage doesn’t work (basically, ateaseweb.com).

Ade, can you please fix the thing about the cookie? People ask around on the mb and I have posted the same thing more than three times.
