Radiohead At Ease: Weird & Fishy

For the past week, the site has been acting up. All the news posts from ateaseweb.com refused to show up.

Despite all the wonderful technology, things sorta messed up on this end. I’ve also heard reports of various problems and in browsers on different operating systems. I’m sure not everything is fixed yet, but please report back if things are still not working. For most people, the news posts should be visible again. If not, please let me know.

  • I was wondering where At Ease had disappeared to… :)

  • ive been having this for months. every 10 days of so there would be a bumper news update. im using firefox in windows xp if that helps. x

  • I use Firefox and the site always shows up blank. Not so in Internet Explorer. This has been an on again off again issue for many months for me…

Not sure if it’s related but sometimes I see like 9 updates show up on the front page after a week of nothing and they’re all dated one day apart?

  • Didn’t work for me either, but I deleted all the cookies and private information in one of my browsers, reloaded and now I can see it :) Weird…

  • I couldn’t even comment!

  • i had a similar problem and then someone on the board suggested to get rid of a few firefox extensions (i use firefox on windows xp), so i got rid of a bunch of those and ever since things have been fine.
i must say though – the site is PACKED these days with external widgets and ads etc., i’m sure that would cause a lot of problems especially for older browsers and systems.
no offence adriaan – still LOVE the site :-)

  • for me its always the same
    weeks of silence
    and THEN!
    S U D D E N L Y
    all the new come up
    at once
    with different dates
    funny Ha Ha !

  • The widget doesn’t work since I upgrade to Leopard , the news show up but if you click the link nothing happens.

  • my situation is the same as comment #2, except i’m using windows 2000. i hope it doesn’t keep up s:

    Same here…

  • I have the same problems as a few others above – I won’t get any news updates for about 10 days, and then there’s a deluge. It’s been happening for a few months now.

  • Hmmm … We never have this problem over at MT …

  • The index continues to show up blank for me in Firefox on XP. I cleared my cookies, but still no go. I’m using IE (shudder!) to browse right now. However, individual news page URLs show up fine in Firefox. Go figure?

  • The index shows up blank in Firefox on XP, even after clearing cookies. Individual news URLs work fine though.

  • Yup, same as Alex here. Individual links work, but homepage doesn’t work (basically, ateaseweb.com).

  • Ade, can you please fix the thing about the cookie? People ask around on the mb and I have posted the same thing more than three times.

  • I didn’t have this problem.

  • I’m using Opera and I get random groups of atease news bulks.

  • I have problems with the screen too.

  • I can’t see At Ease on Firefox. I have to use stupid internet explorer. :(

  • I’m only able to see atease on Internet Explorer. I don’t like that because I always use firefox

  • Hey, the index is working now :)

I actually like what you have acquired here, really like what you’re saying and the way in which you say it. You make it entertaining and you still care for to keep it smart.
