PYRAMID SONG??! Chance they’ll play it?

  • mk

Sounds sweet! It sounds like a brilliant couple of opening shows. Anybody knows if those are the definite tourdates? I thought they were going to add Latinamerica somewhere in there.

  • wes

how do you get into a soundcheck??

  • jk

    good question wes.

  • http://www.myspace.com/mysmalladventure My Small Adventure

You dont really get in. if you show up early you’ll be able to hear it from outsude

  • Lodi

    OMG! PYRAMID SOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG!!!!!

  • sup

Glad to see Bangers and Mash as part of the regular set list. It was kind of a terrible encore.

  • RYaN

    wheres morning bells?

  • Chris

    “wheres morning bells?”

    - hopefully gone for the rest of the tour

  • balls

    Fuck you Chris

  • HaHaHaHa

Pretty sick setlist so far. Add “I Might Be Wrong” and I’d be very happy with that show.

  • a

chris just wants to see them play “creep” on a loop

  • Lodi

Faust Arp on electric guitars? That’s awesome!

  • mikey

    no PA again…weird

  • Radiofan

I can’t help it but wonder how come Jigsaw falling isn’t on the list ? anyone ?

  • yogitea

i’m glad there’s no PA. i’m tired of hearing it and i’m sure they’re tired of playing it. time to retire that one, as great as it is.

  • aside

seriously great show. we were in orchestra section 2, front and center 4 rows back. mind-blowing visuals, though the vocals were drowned out at times, probably because of where we were….. exit music was a revelation, and faust arp sounded perfect. all in all the best show i’ve ever been to (only 2nd radiohead show ever)

The Bends!! ::drool:: I’m amazed by both night’s setlists so far, makes me even more amped for Sunday night in Bristow. Thank God I’m only having to sit through 6 days of live reports instead of several months. :-D

  • dc

PA is pretty much considered their best song. while kid a is my favorite album…it would be really nice to their fans to play PA.

  • Javier

Can’t wait to see them in Chicago and san Diego in August. I hope they play” Let Down”.

  • mandy

I really hope they play the old live version of DITNU sometime.

  • http://educatedsoldier.blogspot.com whiskeyboarder

I was on the Amphitheater lawn; what a wonderful show. Thom’s voice is pretty much perfect.

  • a

What a great show!!! And day… Toronto via Miami via Tampa… Destination… Radiohead.

  • a

    again without paranoid android
im beggining to being a little scared about this :S

  • http://www.myspace.com/soundsvinyl anthony Galaz

why don’t they play high and dry or We Suck Young Blood from httt or You and blow out from the pablo honey album? those are sick songs, ive seen them five times but they never play those…. I did get to hear them play lurgee off of pablo honey, that was cool, but not a fan fave.

  • http://www.ill-legible.com Sean

nothing off pablo honey is a “fan” fave… if you are here for creep, you are pretty much not a fan

  • http://www.ill-legible.com Sean

that sounded more harsh than i meant it, my bad anthony. i just think pablo honey has such a shadow cast over it by the rest of their AMAZING catalogue.

  • kraft

Sure, they’ve played PA and FPT and KP to death, but, in the shows I’ve attended those are usually the crowd-shattering moments that are the most enjoyable (for me, anyways).

  • A

No Paranoid, No Jigsaw? I’m gonna kill someone

  • Ian

I hope they start to play 2+2=5, Myxo and Climbing Up the Walls a little more later in the tour. Seeing them in Glasgow and as good a set list as this is it could be so much better.

  • JD

What time exactly was the sound check held?

  • ryan

htdc?? are they retiring that one too?! guess i missed out on my chance to hear it live

  • http://funnyhahafunnyhow.blogspot.com specialist

    talk show motherfucking host???

  • kale

    that show rocked!!! seriously

  • kale

oh yeah… i loved that he gave us “folks on the the hill” a shout out. i was on the lawn

  • YourSuperheoro

Love that optimistic might be a staple
on this tour. An overlooked song.

I hope ‘How To Disappear Completely’ will return!

  • geoff

You and whose army was godly, that camera close up was crazy as hell. Never did I think I would see Airbag, Just, and The Bends! Jonny played his ass off, and ed was laughin most of the show. What a concert!

Another great setlist but prefered yesterdays despite the addition of lucky, tourist, bends

  • spike

I think I’d cry if I heard them play Let Down but I don’t expect them to.

A bit odd though – usually they’d at least play one of Paranoid Android, No Surprises, Karma Police, Street Spirit, Fake Plastic Trees

  • Dawson

    oooh, the tourist!

  • T.ME!

Looking forward to the Charlotte & Bristow shows this week. What ever songs they play I’ll be happy with. This will be my 29th & 30th time seeing the best band around. I’ve been lucky enough to see them on every tour since the beginning. They played Creep every night on the first tour, LOL.

  • Jb

    what time is sound check?

  • tim

    i like radiohead

  • Oasis Rckss

Booo! no Paranoid Android, Karma Police, High and Dry, My Iron Lung, Street Spirit, Myxamytosis, Fake Plastic Trees, of course no Creep b/c they never do that song anymore, booooo!!

  • a_man

creep was played at theatre at msg in may 2006; night 1 of 2; most recent tour

  • a_man

correction – played in Atlanta fall 2004 – 2nd to last tour

    gotta keep my shows straight

  • Good Afternoon

This is a short tour remember i reckon they will play lots of stuff varied sets

  • http://burnptcruisers.blogspot.com burnptcruisers

awesome setlist, great variety, played the tourist, the gloaming, four tracks from kid a. cannot complain at all.

  • sbs

For those who went to both west palm and tampa shows, which was better? I was at tampa, and I was blown away! Too many favorites to list.

  • heath

Wish I was closer than the grass! It was a lot of fun, but I would’ve been thrilled to hear Myxamatosis live vs. Gloaming.

  • superfunk

    For christs sake!

    play Paranoid Android!!!!!!!!!

  • http://jake1313.deviantart.com Jake

    I need Planet Telex!

  • T-Cap

I love that we’re two shows in and people are harping on Radiohead for not playing specific songs. It’s a long tour, guys. They always end up bringing some songs back from the dead. I’m interested in the assertion that there might be some new material appearing. Let’s face it, a show is great when you never know what to expect next. I’m not so sure about All I Need as an opener…I’d prefer them go the traditional route there and do 15 Step.

  • Dave

Oh my god! I’m totally into radiohead! I’ve seen them 72 times, even though that has nothing to do with this concert in any way. Just thought it was important to contribute.

  • one

    well… it wasn’t

  • Jaques

When I see them in Bristow, I would love for them to play Pyramid Song, Where I End and You Begin, The National Anthem, and Climbing up the Walls. Talk Show Host would be nice too, but it’s unlikely. ?

But, no matter what they play, I’ll be fine with it. Because to nitpick about little things is to nullify the fact I have the opportunity to see one of the greatest bands in the world.

  • Graham

Never sen them….been waiting 5 years to do so

    play Paranoid Android

    damnit

    :-)

  • Lp

whats the name of the song they enter to?
