Undefined? How much like 15 Step? It wasn’t 15 Step being played badly, was it? What were the lyrics? Has anyone got an MP3 of it? Can you sing it for us? Just hum the opening, then. NEW SONG!

I’d also love for a change from the ‘all i need’ opener. i think reckoner would be amazing to open a show.

May 12th, 2008
they should play a concert with a backwards setlist for shits and giggles sometimes.
and after all, House of Cards and All I Need would both make pretty solid openers AND closers.

Due to the heavy rain and flooding, I sat in traffic for three hours, missing the entire show. What an amazing set list too.
With that said, I have two tickets to tonights show for sale. Perfect for any city planner or civil engineer that wants a pristine representation of how they ruined my chance to see Radiohead.

It took us 3 hours to get here and now it looks like we’ll be stuck in this nightmare of a parking lot for even more. The show was awesome(we arrived during idioteque) but I’ll never come back to nissan pavillion!

Are you FUCKING KIDDING ME? Minus Karma Police (which I have no real problems with, just not high on my list), that’s practically a dream encore list for me there. Hoping all these songs are still around for leg 2. LSP, Go Slowly, Planet Telex. Wow, I’m extremely jealous.

this was an unbelievable show and unbelievable setlist. crazy rain/flooding…worst venue ever..i saw them in philly on the last tour and this was even better (the radiohead shows though happen to be the best two shows of the 100 ish shows i’ve seen in my life). it’s incredible how the in rainbows songs hold their own with all the radiohead classics. all these great songs and in rainbows was just as good (which shocked me). we left at 5 from dc and got there at 830 (it’s supposed to be a 50 minute drive according to mapquest). luckily we saw the whole set. i would not be surprised if fake plastic trees was not on the setlist but added on in the moment….when was the last time they played that song? (years ago?)
15 STEP WAS PLAYED…setlist is missing that.

The show was phenomenal tonight. Amazing setlist. The lights and other visuals really add to the experience. The only downer was the rain. I felt really bad for the people on the lawn. Even people in the assigned seats got soaked getting from the parking lot to their seats. I don’t know how anyone could leave before the encores. Awesome show, those of you that are waiting for the tour to get to your neck of the woods, it’s WELL worth the wait.

May 12th, 2008
Damn it! I can’t believe the second half was that good! I wanted to hear more, but was completely soaked to the bone and freezing. I just couldn’t stand out in the rain any longer (apparently, 5 hours of non-stop downpour is my max…) I had such high hopes for this show making up for the rained-out 2001 Bull Run show… Except for the key fact that we got to hear them this time, the whole situation sucked… I’m so bummed that I missed Spinning Plates and Fake Plastic Trees… shit…

Missing 15 Step somewhere in the first third of the show to round out entire IN RAINBOWS played! Amazing show! Best concert of my life. First time Jigsaw played live (ever right?) Myx into Idioteque was absurd + Lucky, Paranoid Android, Everything, Just, Karma Police, Planet Tel, and Natl Antm, what a mind blowing show, definitely worth all the rain and mud.

May 12th, 2008
the only band i’ve ever go back for is radiohead. the thing is at least it has good sound. everything else about it is the worst . venue evertotally hypocritical of radiohead to play a venue inaccessible by public transport. that being said, i honestly think they gave us a special set tonight in order to make it up to the fans. they played one more song than at all the other shows and played fake plastic trees for the first time in so long and other songs for the first time of the tour (karma, spinning plates, jigsaw).
dc
May 12th, 2008
may i add to the venue rants that thank god the other good ampitheatre tour this summer (r.em, modest mouse, the national) is coming to meriweather and not nissan. nissan is hell on earth.

May 12th, 2008
Left from Baltimore at 5pm, fought horrific traffic the whole way, and at 830 made it to the entrance….the one that was flooded. Two hours later we made it in by Optimistic. I want a god damn refund. Why the hell wasn’t there a sign put up that you couldn’t go that way.
So much for reducing carbon footprint. I don’t care how low energy the stage lights are, thousands of cars idling in stop and more stop traffic kind of negates that whole idea.

the lawn bitches all started singing “rain down” during PA– I shared a moment with a true fan and it really made the night.

Looking forward to nyc

Not sure why Radiohead’s need to play outside trumped the desire to play a venue with reasonable public transport access (like Verizon Center).

May 12th, 2008
OK, quit yer bitchin! The rain = no one’s fault. Getting there late = your fault. And yes, the setlist is missing 15 Step.
The weather was no surprise to anyone with access to a weather broadcast. It poured like they said it would. There were even flash flood warnings. If you are that much of a fan, leave at noon to make sure you get there, and bring some fucking clothes! Don’t bitch when you are wearing a tank top and it is wet and 50 degrees outside. The facility is actually a really nice pavilion when there aren’t torrential downpours flooding the whole place. And because of the weather, Radiohead played the best setlist I have ever heard live. I was in the pit about 5 people away from Ed and I have to tell you, these guys were fucking amazing. I mean c’mon: In Rainbows in it’s entirety? Planet Telex? Fake Plastic Trees (never played live in the DC area)? Even when Tom had to start Faust Arp over 3 times, it was cool to see them being human. He ran out of breath with Arpeggi, Myxamotosis, and Idioteque in succession.
Best fucking concert ever. I don’t even care that I was soaked and cold, and I was UNDER the pavilion! I have to give a lot of credit to those who were on the lawn all night. Hope there aren’t too many cases of pneumonia today.
BEST BAND EVER. PERIOD.
DG
May 12th, 2008
1. The show was amazing.
2. The weather was horrendous.
3. 15 Step is indeed missing from this list.
4. Fake Plastic Trees was added to the set as a tribute to all of the people who couldn’t make it. It really wasn’t on the setlist. (I know cuz I got Thom’s setlist :D)

My shoes, socks, pants, and hoodie are all still soaked from that downpour. The conditions were absolutely horrendous (all of which I horribly underestimated), but this set made up for it completely. All my friends and I could do after the fact was laugh it off, as we waded our way through the huge rivers they called sidewalks. We had to wait 2 hours in the parking lot just to move out of our spot, but it was a decent time for a much needed nap.
Radiohead kicked some tail and I definitely thank them for realizing that the fans made a lot of sacrifices to come out that night. Blowing rain in the pit sucks, but it had nothing on what the lawn people experienced. Good for you guys. The 3rd time is the charm and this was my favorite concert ever, with plenty of stories to be told.

I am STILL so cold and rainy. I was prepared with a golf umbrella, sweaters, raincoat - everythign. But we got there early b/c we had pit tickets and still got soaked. Once you get soaked and are standing for 6 hours in the cold you start to feel pretty miserable. My wife, God bless her, has the flu and insisted that we stay for the entire show AND the encores. And she has the flu! Luckily i was right in front of tom by the shortest woman ever (i’m only 5′ 6” and my wife is five feet tall) so we could see perfectly. It was worth the pneumonia, swamp butt, restless leg syndrome i have today. Also worth the 2 hour ride home (which should take 30 minutes). Do any of the people who were standing by me (3 rows in the pit right in front of thom - i was wearing a yankee hat) have photos? If so please email them to me at allyouneedihops @ gmail.com

nissan pavilion blows. the world would be better off if it never even existed. but moving on… i was determined not to miss any of this show. i had seen them at the tower theater in philly 2 years ago and this was just too long to wait.
we live downtown in dc and hit the road at about 345. we pulled in to lot A at roughly 545. the traffic is awful coming out of the city on 66, and it doesnt clear up until somewhere around exit 50, which does us no good.
we hung out in the lot for a little over 2 hours and went in for the last 4 or 5 songs of the liars. despite the fact we had pavilion seats (sec. 101) i’m sure i would have enjoyed liars more if it was freezing and still misting on us under the roof.
the show was fantastic… yes, 15 step was played. the entire main set kicked ass and i had absolutely no complaints with the setlist at all. reckoner sounded fantastic (contrary to some comments from earlier shows i had read… thom held the notes quite fine). yes, PA into Just was killer… bangers and mash into bodysnatchers was killer.
first encore, LSP sounded awesome… and i love to hear planet telex live. second encore was just as good.
some show notes:
-faust arp was started once, they played about halfway into the first verse, and stopped. they started again and played just a few bars, then stopped again. third time they got it right.
-after LSP, thom chatted to the crowd for an extended time. some stuff about the people in the lawn needing to find someone to cuddle with, and if you can’t find anyone, come backstage.
-encore two, before they started playing FPT, thom acknowledged they had found out that many that were en route to the show were turned away due to flooding in the area. fake plastic trees was dedicated to those that could not make it.
i kept a setlist and notes on the show in my cell, and that’s about all i can remember. despite the crappy venue, still a phenomenal show.

people aren’t just complaining about rain here. this venue is notorious for its inaccessibility. everyone in the DC area has a nightmare story about being stuck in traffic to or from Nissan for three hours, missing a show, etc. they put a venue in the middle of nowhere with a two lane road as the only way in or out, they typically make zero concessions to venue traffic – nobody directing traffic, delaying lights, nothing. last night they did have some cops directing, but only because they road to the venue was closed due to flooding, necessitating a lengthy detour to get around to the other side. i stuck with the detour, but turned around when i was almost at the pavilion because i saw the road back out was flooded and i couldn’t risk getting stuck in the middle of nowhere due to flooded roads and stranding my babysitters. obviously, my own problem, but it wouldn’t have been a problem at Merriweather or ANY OTHER VENUE I CAN THINK OF.

Such a great show! My sixth time seeing them, the third in the rain
I left from DC at 5, got there at 630, got drenched on the walk from the parking lot, and waited for two more hours in the cold and wet through the awful opening band - but it was all worth it.
Amazing setlist, the crowd was pretty in to the music, the lights were amazing…I definitely feel bad for those who didn’t make it / were stuck on the lawn. I’ve got tickets to see them up in Boston in August - hopefully it will stay dry!

May 12th, 2008
Sorry so many missed it. But I’m in Baltimore, realized it was raining, and left at 3. Got there at 530 with little trouble, and decided to park in VIP parking because I heard it’s easier to get out of the place. It was the best 30 bucks I ever spent in my life. Aside, from normal concert exit traffic, I was on 66 within 20 minutes. The show was phenomenal. I am sorry that so many missed it, but plan ahead people. It’s not Nissan’s fault it rained. You missed a great show.
geeveebee
May 12th, 2008
yea nissan is the worst venue in the area. by middle of nowhere it actually is like far off the highway and only like 2 lane roads for a while leading up to some of it. i’m so happy we left so early to be safe (5pm) and we didn’t even get there for liars set. they list this as their “dc” show, yet it took 3 hours to get there from dc. honestly for the next tour i think i’d rather drive to philly than go to nissan. philly for the tower theatre show was a breeze. there is also no way possible to get to the venue with public transportation. that being said, the sound is better than being in an arena (so it’s a trade off)…but it’s horrible people had to miss part or all of the show. i can’t even contemplate how band i’d feel if that happened.

After I got home I tore my concert ticket up and threw it in the rubbish! Radiohead might be good but they ain’t worth 5 hours of driving from DC and getting completely soaked in mud and rain. Come back and make it up to us. Don’t charge more than $30 for a ticket and definately, definately don’t play at this absolutely shittest of all shit venues I have ever been to. If you do, I ain’t going if you give that show away.
foasis
May 12th, 2008
I just got word from one of my friends who was turned away at the show because of the flooded road that literally HUNDREDS of cars were turned away due to some access road flooding and then by the time they got to a detour and stuff the show was like almost over so they turned them away. fucking shameful planning of venue.
dc
May 12th, 2008
yeah, $170 for two wasted tickets. i’ve said this before, but this time i mean it — i will never go to Nissan again, unless it’s to burn it down to the ground. (joking).

a lot of devil’s advocates in here. freakin venue, the worst I’ve ever been in my entire life. I know nissan hasn’t control of the weather, but come on! some organization for the access and stuff lie that!
by the way, after driving 330 hours from baltimore, and living a nightmare on the lawn, amazing show, A1 setlist. in the middle of the show, when I heard Just, I realized it all was worth it, but beacuse I’m a great fan, but I can imagine the feelings of the people that is not. peace.
joey
May 12th, 2008
yea it was worth all the horrible weather and shit b/c they really brought out an amazing setlist. i just feel so badly for the people who didn’t make it in the gig or missed part of it. from what it sounds like, a few thousand didn’t make it into the gig b/c of flooding. bands should not play that venue.
dc
May 12th, 2008
The setlist was amazing for sure but i think someone needs to have a serious sitdown with whoever booked these venues…rain or not, they seem a bit inaccessible and not favorable to the type of environmentally responsible tour they were planning ![]()

First Radiohead concert I’ve ever been to. My friends and I got there around 2:30 in hopes of getting a ticket at all (in my case) and upgrading from lawn to seats (in their case). We scored 5 tickets early afternoon. Yes, all of us were freezing cold from the rain & wind but none of us cared. In the end? The show was effin’ amazing and I STILL can’t get over the fact they played Fake Plastic Trees. Karma Police was played due to the bull on Capitol Hill and by the sounds of the crowd (who definitely sang along) that was quite all right with everyone.
Seriously, the concert made up for all the other stuff that did suck. I even had an accident on the way home thanks to the rain and I still don’t care (no one got hurt) because the SHOW KICKED ASS!!!

I was there last night.
The Best and Worst thing that ever happened to me.
The Weather was dreadful but this is the best setlist!
AMAZING!
I had a perfect view as well of the whole stage.

May 12th, 2008
As my wife said last night, it was the most amazing show under the worst conditions ever. We got there pretty early around 5:00PM, we waited in the rain to get in, and then waited some more to get into the PIT. And then waited through the Liars set(which was torture in and of itself….)
But it was all worth it when Radiohead finally came on close to PM. They played flawlessly as usua, and the set list as most people have mentioned was unreal. Every single song from In Rainbows, Lucky, PA, Pyramid Song, and Jigsaw for the first time on tour in the main set.
Then the most amazing encores I’ve ever seen, and this was my 12th time. LSP, Optimistic, Karma, Go Slowly, Planet Telex! Then came back with Fake Plastic! Followed by National Anthem. FPT was added by Thom for all the people that missed the show because of the floods, and the people in the lawn that had it much worse than we did…..
All in all a crazy, wet night with a lot of highs and lows. My wife had never seen them, so this was a dream set list for her. She could’ve used a Gore-Tex jacket and an extra layer of clothes…… But assuming we don’t die from this flu we got last night, we will remember it as one of the greatest radiohead shows ever…

I cannot believe the total clusterfuck that happened last night. To those that weren’t there, this is much more than just complaining about a little bit of rain. It took us over 5 hours to get from Glen Burnie to even get in the line at the nissan, a trip which should have taken 90 minutes at the most. Refunds would be nice, but it isn’t going to make me feel any better.
Kudos to all my fellow fans who were unfortunate enough to take exit 44 to the flooded out entrance (which for some reason was not marked as closed). Despite the absolutely infuriating situation, almost everyone was very polite and as patient as possible with all the merging and lines and such. I know I won’t be going to the nissan pavilion again and I hope radiohead chooses another venue for the DC area in the future.

What a show!! My 30th and up there with the best. No show will ever top Glastonbury (OK Computer Tour) or seeing Radiohead at the Trobadour in LA for The Bends and OK Computer. The band definitely was feeling it for the crowd aka “The Wet People”. “Fake Plastic Trees” and “National Anthem” were thrown in as extra treats for us dealing with the conditions. Did anyone notice Thom singing a liitle bit of Peter Gabriel’s “Red Rain” before “Everything In It’s Right Place”?

The thing that really put me over the top with Nissan is that, after we had stood outside for 3 hours (I got there as soon as the parking lot opened and was one of the first in line at the gates) and ran our frozen asses off for 1/4 of a mile, uphill, with inches of water pouring against our shoes, we get to the side of the stage, where there’s no cover, and they hold us for another HALF HOUR before they let us in to the pit! That was outrageous.
Because I’m so slow, I ended up in the second row right in front of Jonny, but no complaints! Amazing show, great set list, even though I was disappointed with the closer.

i had an unbelievable and unforgettable time. having not seen the boys since københavn in spring ‘06, i was very pleased to be there. two years is too long, but it was cool seeing how ALL of the new songs have evolved since we heard them when they were first debuted.
the rain was a real challenge but if you tried to imagine it as a positive thing, it wasn’t all bad. at times it was almost as if the music itself was powerful enough that it triggered more rain, enhancing the experience. don’t get me wrong, i was a lawn-ie (or maybe a looney), drove for several hours to and from DC, and feel ill today, but it was worth it.
i do remember in particular getting a laugh out of thom mentioning trying to cuddle up with someone to keep warm to the people on the lawn, and following that comment by playing “optimistic”, heh.
needless to say, i’m looking forward being under the covering in the reserved section for the boston show. cheers

What an awesome show and kudos to everyone that braved the lawn ; I’m not sure I could’ve done it.
We got there during the liars set, (liked the music, hated the singer,)and got totally soaked on the way to the pavilion.
$40 tee-shirts and $12 beer was almost as horrific as the weather.
The setlist was just amazing and really worth it.
Getting out of there was a real pain in the ass.
We got soaked trying to remember where we parked and didn’t get out of gridlock for two and a half hours.
I not a huge fan of the venue, but I think a lot of people are unfairly bashing it.
Roads were flooded out, there’s nothing that the venue could have done to correct that.
Rain or shine, don’t complain when you get rain and everything that goes along with it.

the point is this venue has been around for years and they should expand the roads near the venue so that there isn’t ridiculous traffic like that.

I loved the show - I was in the top center of the pavilion and felt kinda bad for the lawn seat folks. Thom was amazing, Johnny helped him keep in tune for one of his solo tracks. I too sat in my car praying I wouldn’t run out of gas for 2 1/2 hours after the show but that wasn’t what pissed me off because I understand the roads were a nightmare, flooding and what not, but when we arrived, we drove right past two empty parking lots and were directly to park in the swappest, farest away spot in the joint. They filled the general parking front to back ????? What the hell sense does that make? Why if you arrive early should you be the last to leave?
I am wearing my $40.00 shirt I bought there now and am very pleased with it because it 100% completely recycled and not made in CHINA!!!
Peace >: )

Wow! What an amazing setlist! Hope Dublin (Sun) gets similar treatment! (And I don’t mean the horrendous weather conditions.) I am really sorry for those who missed the whole gig. Make sure to call the venue holders and demand refunds!

Called Nissan at (703)754-6400. The poor woman on the phone said she’d been overwhelmed with complaints the entire day. As of right now they’re just taking your info and have promised to call everyone who calls back in a couple days. Hopefully we’ll at least get a refund out of this mess? Not that it’ll make it any better.

seriously - everyone telling us to stop complaining can kiss my ass. We were at the exit for Nissan at 7:00 and were still in line at 10:20 when we pulled away. I’m 34 and know how to check the weather and arrive to a concert on time.
The venue sucked and the night sucked, and i left a big f’in carbon footprint…
Glad most of you enjoyed it - the setlist looks amazing….

1) Amazing show. Fake Plastic Trees made it worth while for me
2) Took 2 hours to get to the show (should have been 45)
3) Stood in the cold rain for 7 hours, in the mud, on the lawn, with some ignoramus holding an umbrella in front of my face
4) Acoustics/clarity of sound at Nissan was the best I’ve ever heard. I heard every single word Thom said and could pick out the faintest notes
5) That being said, the Nissan Pavilion never should have been built. Until last year it was accessible by a 1-lane country road (the way I came in.. until it washed away)
6) People who weren’t there, or who were under the shed, can’t begin to imagine how surreal it is to see a Radiohead show when you’ve lost all feeling in your feet, your toes no longer move, and the sound of the rain hitting your head drowns out the soft songs.
Nissan is RIGHT NEXT to Bull Run, the infamous site of 2001. You know what happened? Bull Run flooded so much this morning that it has formed a lake visible from Interstate 66, and was in danger of washing away that road too.
Next time, play the Verizon Center.
Great show!

Forgot to mention that it took me 3.5 hours to get home. 2.5 of which involved burning gas sitting in a moving car in the parking lot trying to get dry and stay warm. So much for the carbon footprint

wished liars was louder and played longer, they ve kicked ass last 2 times i ve seen them. brilliant setlist, hoped for a couple more obscure trax like talk show or dollars and cents. the rain was killer with the cold but the show was fantastic. jigsaw was brilliant. nude - ideoteque was just a perfect line up. good to see them play optimistic and planet telex.

I am pretty sure they played “Kid A” in this show. I think the list is not accurate.
That doesn’t change the fact that despite very wet, rainy and messy, this was an amazing concert.

I agree with DG, the weather sucked, but it was one hell of a show. THIS was the BEST performance of Idioteque I’ve ever seen. Ever. That include youtube videos. The Lighting was insane. They’ve done such a genius job with the lighting. The videos and pictures don’t do it justice. It is multi-layered and three dimensional. Songs like Lucky, Idioteque, Bangers & Mash, and Planet Telex benefited significantly from the presentation values. EIIRP even got the lyrics in the lights, a shocking and great effect.
Fake Plastic Trees was amazing. Jonny went NUTS on the guitar towards the end. It was one of the few performances of the song that I’ve liked. It was truly outstanding.
I was on the lawn. Walking still feels funny.

for all those who are saying “real fans would have left early and prepared for the weather…. i think that’s junk….
my wife and i traveled from Newport News VA, a trip that should have taken 2 1/2 hours took 7(due to traffic on 95N), and that was just to get to the flooded entrance… we then waited another two hours do be detoured around to another enterance and when we we got there(10:15ish) we were turned around by a security dude who said “the concert is over”. We left at 1pm to get to a show that started at 7:30, we still would have been able to see radioheard(for the first time) if it wasnt for the venue. we ended up back in neport news at 2 in the morning, and still not having seen our favorite act live…
I must admit that i can bearly bring myself to look at the setlist..looks freakin awesome… all i know is that there were many others who were turned away as well… im not sour with radiohead at all, kudos for them to playing on for those who made it… ill call tomorrow and see about a refund, but that’s the least of my concerns now..

Anyone else see this?

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to the British (?) couple that gave my friends and I four pavilion tickets as we were looking for a spot on the lawn!!!! We really appreciated being up close and slightly less soaked for the show! We owe you a few beers if our paths ever cross again….

After taking the back roads in, we arrived there at about 8:30ish. We would’ve made it earlier, but the road we wanted to take was flooded. To say the least, the conditions were extremely bad. You have to feel really bad for the people in jeans…it just didn’t stop raining.
Eight of us were on the lawn, dead center, and dispite the weather, the show was fantastic. The show just seemed to flow so well. The lights have never been better! Paranoid, Planet Telex and National Anthem were highlights for that. 15 Step was in there and was great! Once Paranoid started, they never seemed to let off the gas pedal.
I could’ve done without Faust Arp. I really wasn’t in the mood for multiple starts, for a rather slow song, while getting poured on. Also, EIIRP was the shortest I’ve seen yet. Weak.
Overall, the setlist was great and the crew were sharp as ever, which made me forget how muddy and wet and wet I really was.

“I could’ve done without Faust Arp. I really wasn’t in the mood for multiple starts, for a rather slow song, while getting poured on. Also, EIIRP was the shortest I’ve seen yet. Weak.”
Petrick, I know it must’ve been pretty miserable up there, but Faust Arp was a total highlight of the show for me. The fact that Thom was out of breath from the Myxo, Indio combo that came right before, and needed a couple of restarts was really not that big of a deal in the grand scheme(added a minute to the show?), and when the song finally did start, it was a thing of absolute beauty and really showed Thom and Johnny’s bond.
As for EIIRP, yeah it was a bit short, but usually they close the set with it, so they let it play out a little longer, its not that long of a song, it still sounded great to me
Aren’t you being a little hard on them? They played their hearts out and Thom acknowledged how rough it was for the crowd many times, and gave us FPT and NA in the second encore, which were added treats.

I was part of a group of 5 people who couldn’t get into the show because of the flooding, the horrible detour, and the LiveNation staff, who blatantly lied to us. We finally made it to the parking lot after 5 hours of driving (from Fulton, Maryland) and then people in LiveNation shirts started turning people away, saying, “there’s only one song left, go home.” We could clearly hear that there were more songs left and I heard planet telex and fake plastic trees when I got out of the car and waded through the water to use the bathroom. We were all furious, some of us having come from Jersey and even Michigan. We ended up driving back to the venue yesterday and we demanded to speak to a manager about refunds and about how we were treated. He was a nice guy (anyone else in the area with the same experience should try talking to them in person, maybe we can make something happen) but he gave some answer like “we’re working things out with the band now.” He took our tickets, said that it was just a bad combination of the weather and people leaving late which started the problems, and he took our phone numbers down. I have no idea about what will come of this, but I am going to try to talk to him again to see if maybe they can help finance tickets for a later show, like Camden NJ in August. Ugh. And to top it off, May 11th was my 20th birthday.

Great show, weather permitting. I think it’s really interesting that people who didn’t make it in are blaming everybody but themselves. Let’s see….major metropolitan area, horrible traffic, even on a good day. Weekend show, when everyone in the metro area is driving back, and it was Mother’s Day. Blame yourselves. Most of the reviewers sound like whiny Republicans; no accountability. I’ve seen over 50 shows at Nissan over the years and have NEVER had a problem, of course, I’m one of those foolish people who show up early…

is it unreasonable to expect to travel 6.5 miles from the interstate to the parking lot in under 2 hours and 45 minutes?
unless you were there you have no idea of the circumstances…taking one approach route versus another meant literally a 2-3 hour difference.

anyone criticizing people for being late is an idiot. it took us two hours just to get from the exit into the venue and it would have taken another hour to park if we didn’t do the vip thing. luckily we got there for radiohead’s set but missed liars.
live nation is also full of shit with their “late arriving crowd” thing….we left from dc at 5pm and didn’t even enter the parking lot till 830.

Chris and others - you’re douchebags. I missed the show because Nissan didn’t tell us the exit was closed - hence an additional 3.5 hours to travel the last mile - I was at exit 44 at 7:00. The good news…my bad concert karma is over, even better news…Chris still has his coming.
Oh - I hear I’m getting Camdem tix as a refund (not confirmed), Radiohead are a fan’s band for sure….
