PC: You probably made the worst decision in your life. Regardless of what the set was, it was fantastic. I was quite sad they didn’t play Street Spirit but was quite surprised they played You & Whose Army, I didn’t expect it to be played at all.
Overall, the gig itself was fantastic. It was absoutely immense during Lucky, Just and Paranoid Android, especially Just and Paranoid Android.
But when they played HTDC, the whole entire crowd were up for it, it was truly special and something I dont think will ever happen again, sadly. If it doesn’t, I’ll die knowing that I went to a Radiohead concert and that it was absoutely brillant.

I tend to agree with PC. Although they premiered a new song, the sets are becoming too predictable - remember when they used to rotate songs and when Optimistic used to be rare?

The Superconducting Super Collider (SSC) was a particle accelerator which was planned to be built in Texas. It was planned to have a ring circumference of 87 km (64 miles) and an energy of 30 TeV per beam, potentially enough energy to create a Higgs boson, a particle predicted by the Standard Model, but not yet detected. The project’s director was Roy Schwitters, a physicist at the University of Texas at Austin and Harvard University.

Absolutely excellent. The setlist was almost perfect - for my taste at least. The light show was superb, the rainbow a bonus, and the sound excellent. Highlights were ‘Bangers and Mash’ and another brilliant ‘Idioteque’. I’m not the biggest fan of ‘The Gloaming’, but the arrangement last night was superb - a very different sound to on Hail to the Thief.
I’d seen them in Marlay Park two years ago which was good, but last night blew me away. One of the best gigs I’ve been to in a while.

Damn 3G connection - my first attempt to comment was lost somewhere. Really wanted to just say I hope they play Optimistic, HTDC and Bangers tonight as well. Otherwise I’ll be beating myself up for not going yesterday (did the tour of Ring of Kerry intead, which was beautiful, can’t deny that). I hope Q’s right, i’m kinda expecting something special. Woohoo - just a few hours to the gig! Better start looking for that DART station on the map. ![]()
