kid a and amnesiac will be in 10" format, all of the original artwork will be intact. i have a feeling that the original copies will retain much or all of their value. i tried to pre-order the whole lot of them from insound, they were already sold out of their allotment of kid a and amnesiac so i had to get those elsewhere. for the record, no pun intended, i already own some of the old records, but the chance to get new copies for listening pleasure was too good to pass up. i hope a tasteful box set of rarities is coming soon.

It depends on whether these are mastered at half speed from the original tapes and pressed on virgin vinyl. If not, what's the point? Decent pressings of these albums are already available from record stores and Ebay.
Some of the other albums in this series are currently available from audiophile labels (Hendrix - Classic Records, Lennon - MFSL). I fear these will be a cheaply made cash in: which is a shame and a lost opportunity. I hope I'm wrong.

Regarding Kid A being out of print, none of the albums are out of print. I work at a record store and ordered them all through our regular distributor a couple of months ago. Amnesiac and Hail to the Thief were pretty pricey (over $20 cost), but Kid A was $13.99

”releasing classic albums on vinyl under the name ‘From the Capitol Vaults' - we could have that plastered all over the record and art work."

This is fine with me--it will help collectors retain some of the value of original pressing.

"I’m always cynical about Remasters, especially from a big label such as EMI, it might be another case of compress compress compress, its louder, people will think it sounds better. Will have to wait and see."

It's vinyl, so I don't think this will be an issue. You can push the loudness on vinyl in the same way that you can on CD.

Agreed. 7 Television Commercials was a good release. But the "Best Of" DVD was an even better release!

As fans I think we deserved it.

The same goes for the Astoria '94 DVD. Why on Earth did that take so long to be released? It was an awesome show. And they definitely should have used the footage of "You" and released it as a music video back then. I think it would have helped the album sales and popularity of the band at that time. They wouldn't have been the band simply known as "that one band that does Creep."
