2 shows means we’ll probably get a few surprises. Super Collider? Cymbal Rush? Scatterbrain? ![]()

They opened tour in West Palm with ‘Bulletproof’–whatever happened to that?
For lord’s sake, i hope they vary up the setlist. we can all guess the rest of this one right now (4 songs in).

I think they nailed bulletproof so they prob decided it was best not to play it again. I dunno what opening nights of a tour are like but the florida gig seemed like a very good gig.
new stuff should be on the way

Please play some new stuff again!!
We know you guys just can’t wait to try some new stuff out live so I speak for everyone else here when I say: “Please, please, please play some new material!” Even if it’s just ONE new song. If not, then at least play ‘Down Is The New Up’ already!

At the beginning of Videotape, Thom couldn’t figure out which bass hit was beat one. They had to restart the song. Gorgeous, though.

I know the “rules” of the park say youre not allowed to bring your own blanket or alcohol, but do they really check when you enter? are they very strict at the park?

Setlist corrected Chris. Some of the texts came out of order. Weird. I blame T-mobile.

Dollars and Cents and Cymbol Rush were jaw-dropping. Other big, transcendent highlights included Optimistic, Street Spirit, You and Whose Army?, and especially Pyramid Song, dedicated to we who live in such a hectic city and need some moments of peace. That was perfect.

I think it may have been Thom’s way of acknowledging what NYC has been through since the last LSP shows in 2001…at least that’s how i felt it when he said that before Pyramid Song.

I mean this would be the best show to end with Creep ![]()

Funny that you mention house of cards, because all the 23 year old Long Island and Jersey girls were going crazy for that song. Go figure. Are they playing it on the radio or something?

it was no bonnaroo but hey i had a great time save the constant flow of weed smoke in my eyes from seemingly everyone around me. highlights of the evening were optimistic and lucky of course.

pyramid song was the best song of the night - such a beautifully haunting song in an equally magnificent setting. My heart sank as soon as I heard that first chord over Johnny’s guitar. By the way, Thom’s quote was actually “This one is dedicated to your extremely hectic city and those moments when you try to find some peace.”
