They should really start playing Down is the new up

  • Lodi

    Awww Thom.

  • Steve

You’re missing CUTW after The Bends.

  • rocky

Reckoner and nude havent been done yet! they had not done “nude” late in a concert for any post-in rainbows concert yet!
15step bodysnatchers ( ) arpeggi all i need faust arp ( ) house of cards jigsaw videotape

  • Jack

Whats with the short set-list? Was this a festival or something?

  • Vulture

    It’s not over yet, Jack.

  • watermelonkid

No EIIRP or Paranoid Android…. I would gladly give up both of those to see Climbing Up the Walls and Go Slowly. Great setlist, and ending with Reckoner…I can see the outro of that song being a great way to end a show!

  • lily

    Go Slowly!
    thanks

  • http://www.youtube.com/user/rc529rdhd aintgotjut

wher i end nd yu begin & planet telex.

    i’m jealous

  • Spanosays

Fantastic show. Sound was better at 2nd night in APW though. But the setlist was better tonight. And Go Slowly sounds amazing live. It was a highlight for me. As was Climbing Up The Walls and Lucky.

  • Carson

    fucking great set

  • T-Cap

The set seems rather slow, at least through the first 11 songs. Videotape the 6th song? Seems questionable, but I’m sure it was an amazing show nonetheless.

  • ParkaPal

That first encore looks top notch. Even with House of Cards.

  • michael

    the national anthem was ridiculous

  • Kapp

This show was freaking awesome. everything sounded great and this was the first i’d seen of the light display; very cool. I especially loved it during The Gloaming. The Kid A and Bends stuff was amazing.

  • hunting bears

My first Radiohead show. Shout out to Ammora.

  • pls

oh man i wish they were playing new york again tomorrow….apw was so amazing. hope everyone has as great an experience on the rest of the tour. so lucky…..

  • http://www.youtube.com/heymancoolshades TheComfort

I melted during Videotape. I didn’t think it’d be that amazing. When the light bars moved up during it, it just made the experience that much better.

The Bends was KILLER as was Planet Telex. Everyone sang in the lawn to that track.

I’ve waited so long to see Just and Morning Bell.

Go Slowly and Jigsaw were killer live.

    Awesome show.

  • Paul

Holy crap, this show. Sound really was fine, just very, very loud. Audience was for the most part great. Absolutely packed — about a foot of room for each person on the lawn. The set really picked up early on, especially at The National Anthem which I did not expect. Lighting on Idioteque was insane.

Climbing Up the Walls was creepy, and while they didn’t play Paranoid Android, having No Surprises and Lucky in the set as well as Street Spirit towards the end, with Everything in Its Right Place as the finisher, I cannot complain.

  • Justin

Great show.. they really sounded good tonight.

  • trojanpony

I don’t know what show you guys were at, this was the worst sounding one I’ve ever seen. It was mixed terribly.

  • Tim

idioteque by far sounded the best tonight then Jigsaw

  • help me rhonda

first radiohead show: breathtaking stuff. first off, great weather. loved the light display…sometimes almost reminscient of live at pompei (although yorke might disagree). everything in it’s right place closing second encore. enough said

  • ???

i wonder why they keep soundchecking i might be wrong, then don’t play it???

  • Charlie

Lucky, Jigsaw, and Climbing all were smokin. The sound was the major drawback of this show, but on many songs, incl these, was fine. Anyone notice that Thom smiled a lot?

Picture from the pit. Holy crap thank you W.A.S.T.E. presale.

    Best. Show. Ever.

The show was great as usual. I was right on the rail in the pit and had a monitor directly in front of me so its hard for me to gage the mix, but i agreee it seemed up too high on some songs, Street Spirit comes to mind, although still gorgeous. Climbing, Lucky, and the Bends were all highlights. Nice, respectful crowd. Thom, Ed, and Colin seemed happy, beautful weather, can’t ask for more….

  • http://paultahan.com snodome

if you went to both APW shows the only song you got was GO SLOWLY. I am kind of disappointed in that. why cant we get 2+2, the world is so fucked up right now and that song can touch people in funny ways. a good funny.

  • nice dream

Last night in Camden was my 25th Radiohead show. Always was and always will be amazing.

  • bmoney

Amazing, amazing show, Lucky, national anthem were all perfect, 15 steps, all i need, Bodysnacthers, Just, Planet Telex, it was beuatiful, wish they played paranoid android or karma police but lucky covered that it was truly a glorious day

  • Zach

Hoping they play In Limbo and I Might Be Wrong In Mansfield tonight! Seeing as they soundchecked it.

  • stillwell

Beautiful show. The band sounded great and they were so gracious. Great crowd enthusiasm, too.

  • bob haut

awesome show! where can i get a copy????

  • mtz

That venue sounds like shit. It’s not Jim Warren’s fault. The Bass has massive standing wave problems and you can’t get a tight sound. APW sound was the best I’ve ever heard out of 13 RH shows over 10 years. But it still sounded way better than most shows these days.
I thought the energy was a bit low compared to other shows, Thom seems to be holding back on some of the really pushed out high notes in some of the rockier songs. But I had a good time even for a NJ crowd. Sorry I’m a jaded NY’er.

  • Zack

Did they say something about China and Sudan during one of their songs? Somebody please confirm this b/c I think I’m going crazy.

  • gigante

Great show, I agree with Spanosays, 2nd night APW was better execution. Thom may have been a bit wastey @ Camden. Bonus though: Climbing Up the Walls.

  • spike

    great set. love go slowly

  • Dwayne Fluke

The show was beyond amazing last night. Everything was tight and the sound was better than expected being the last time I saw them was both nights at the Tower two years ago. But like I said, the sound was excellent in Camden.

Street Spirit was fantastic! And, as mentioned earlier, Video Tape is ten million times better live.

Bends and Planet Telex were great additions and sounded tight.

There There appearing early was a nice surprise. Of the new stuff, Weird Fishes and Jigsaw were just flat out exceptional. Everything sounded perfect and the crowd was into it. . .as they should be.

My only caveat would be the lack of more tracks from OK Computer. . .Let Down in particular.

All in all, just another reason to remind one self never, under absolutely no circumstance (barring emergencies), to miss any one of their shows.

  • anomdebus

Did anyone catch what was written on Colin’s t-shirt?

  • Coffee Cactus

Great pictures, Alex – I would have murdered someone to be that close (maybe next time).
    Still…GREATEST BAND EVER!!!

  • DAN

Brilliant show…but why must they hate on Amnesiac?

  • Dave

I had front row for the first time in my life. Words could never convey how great they sound from up close. To hear Thom’s voice directly without needing amplification was just fantastic, and the bass vibrated my whole body. It’s worth the extra investment of paying to get close, and it’s worth the extra effort to wait in line all day to then run to the front. F*ck tailgating.

  • Dave

Anomdebus: Colin’s t-shirt listed lyrics from Bodysnatchers: I am trapped in this body and can’t get out (I think)

  • anomdebus

    Dave,
    Thanks for the info.

  • chrissy

    Dave: I thought it was Jonny’s t-shirt
    that said that.
Dan: I also wondered that. Amnesiac
    might be my favorite album.
Dwayne: I was hoping to hear Letdown
    too.
Zack: I think they played part of an NPR
broadcast that mentioned China and Sudan,
though what it said I’m not sure. I’m
also pretty sure the Tibetan flag was
displayed at one point. I couldn’t see
    very clearly from the lawn.

  • Divided_Stef

They did have the flag of Tibet displayed, at APW they had 2 or 3 of them.
Does anyone remember Thom saying “May I have the piano forte please?” or rather, what song that was before?

  • chrissy

I remember him saying it, and I think it
was pretty early on. Could it have been
    before All I Need?

  • http://www.myspace.com/soundsvinyl anthony Galaz

damn they really aren’t playing karma police any more… and paranoid android should be in there too.

  • Seth

Greatest time of my life. Go Slowly was beautiful. Thom said “That one was called Go Slowly. This one is not”, then they ripped into Just. Amazing.

  • Seth

Anyone catch Thom say “Cool beans”? Lol…

  • Radhika

Yup, the piano forte comment was right before “All I Need.”

  • Matt

It was a freaking amazing show. Thank you guys.

  • Francis in Philly

This show was absolutely amazing! I need to find a good spot to download the audio. Planet Telex blew me away.

  • ya

go slowly = there there slowed down

  • gaby

this was my 2nd radiohead show. i thought the crowd sucked (lol no offense) because nobody went crazy! not even those in the pit! everybody seemed so uptight & i couldn’t understand why.

i was seating in section 101 (really close to the stage) & i might’ve been the only one singing; everyone around me just stood there. whYYyYyY!

maybe its because im comparing it to the show in bristow, va… idk if you guys heard about how disastrous it was, with the floods & stuff. but the rain made it fun & also made us take more focus on the band & forget evrything else.

anyway… great show. radiohead never fails me :D & ed looked really hot lol
