    Thunderbird Stadium! Sounds interesting.

  • anonymoo

    Best birthday present ever!

  • KidKharma

    i dig radiohead

  • ScottF

    2 Quick Questions:

    1) Are the following times correct?
Gates: 5:00 PM Show: 6:30 PM
    (seems early to me!)

    2) Is there a wristband only area or something like this?

    Thanks for any input!

  • Murray

there doesn’t seem to be a wrist-band area like usual. They called it the zone before. maybe it’s random this time. the last 2 times it was the first batch of tickets that were sold were zone tickets

  • neil

    mix-up the setlist thom…

dont make a liar of phil, he said you had 70 songs ready for this tour!

    shomer fucking shabas

  • kid54

i think Phil is safe on the amount of songs they “practiced”…he didn’t say how many of them they would actually play ;)

  • Muldfeld

Now, remember, folks, don’t scream or sing or talk during the fracking songs. Be considerate. Lots of other people who might not have the comfort of friends going to the show with them and who’ve gone alone want to hear the band, not you.

    Enjoy the music.

  • matt

thats enough out of you muldfeld

  • http://www.leveautobombo.blogspot.com levedad

why everybody says “thom do this, thom dont do that”
    he IS NOT the band

  • buymorestufftoweighmedown

he may not be the band. but if the band are the UN, he is the United States!

  • Play It Already!! !

‘Down Is The New Up’ please.

  • PC

Mudfielf, why dont you just listen to the cds?

  • PC

    Mudfield

  • Lodi

    MYXOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • tcaporale

    Muldfeld…please…just stop…

  • Tara

Thanks Muldfeld. That’s probably the most considerate thing I’ve ever read on this forum.

  • bluepencil

    Please stop saying fracking.

  • Muldfeld

    Thanks, Tara.

PC, the whole point is that the people making so much noise are the ones who should be listening to CDs at home doing whatever they want. They don’t care to hear the differences. I and (I think) the silent majority too afraid to say something do what to hear those differences.

Like I said, the Montreal show was impeccable in part because I and others got people to be quiet and the venue had great sound quality, unlike Toronto’s Molson Amphitheatre, which obviously cares more about getting profits from Rogers than ensuring fans quality listening.

  • Muldfeld

I meant “do want to hear those differences”

  • performingmonkey

Come As You Are, Nirvana cover! No wait, it’s Come To Your Senses!! Thom at the piano and there’s some lovely backing vocals from Ed.

  • matt

mulder, silent majority? who exactly is too afraid to speak on an internet forum?

  • matt

if those people existed then surely there would be some here?

  • Muldfeld

people shouldn’t cough during concerts either and should breath with their mouths closed

  • bluepencil

I hope you’re joking with that last comment.

  • solitaryrose

waiting waiting! trying to get to front!

  • pantrus

    where is my set listtttttttttttttttttttttttttt

  • Me

I’m with Muldfeld on this one. I will be seeing Radiohead for the first time next week, and I will be extremely annoyed if people around me talk and sing along during the concert. Hoot and hollering in between songs is okay, but during the songs, not cool.

  • Muldfeld

I don’t like to have fun.

  • Kate

    Just played talk show host!

  • Muldfeld

    my feet stink :(

  • rikard

    fun is for girl babies

  • iamwormbuffet

We could get people to shut up if enough of the silent ones would step up… It’s always a small percentage of the crowd that disrespects concert goers and music.

  • veduka

    talk show host!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Lodi

Bangers needs to be add

  • Steve

    Oh man! I love Thom.

I would hate to be that guy

  • Arcticjeff505

Thom just owned that guy during Faust Arp!!

How does it feel fucking heckler??!?!

  • David (DotTheEyes)

LOL! From “Shut the fuck up…” to “I love you…” The crowd is getting every side of Mr. Yorke.

  • Munzz

That must have been Muldfeld Thom yelled at.

  • Scott

    Damn Canadians!

  • Andrew

Right about now everyone at the concert is going to get that ugly kick in the face that the main set is over….and they know the show will be over much sooner than they would like.

I hated that realization at the Toronto show, though when you know there is two encores usually covering 5-8 songs…it helps ease the pain a bit.

  • Muldfeld

i wish i had friends in real life. my brother tells me it’s nice to have friends. but he likes that bloody Coldplay and i fracking hate them.

  • ergo

Vancouver is getting a number of songs that I really wish they would play in Seattle tomorrow. :(

  • Munzz

Thom seems to be in a better mood tonight, compared to the night in Toronto. I was at that show and he didn’t say a work for the first 17 songs.

at least we got a better setlist.

  • Munzz

    work = word

  • trojanpony

seriously, it has rained at an absurd number of the shows on this tour…often times heavy rain.

  • http://www.youtube.com/user/rc529rdhd aintgotjut

I can’t wait to hear this bootleg.
This show sounds fun. : )

  • trojanpony

set-wise it’s nothing special…no surprises (pun intended) and a little short (unless it’s incomplete)…but sounds like some of the best thom quotes of the tour. would have loved to hear him say “snog”…haha.

  • k

They’ve got two songs left, don’t they?

  • trojanpony

    oh, nevermind, i spoke too soon, i thought the show was over… Reckoner > 2+2=5 > Idioteque…AWESOME 2nd encore!

  • T

It’s summer, why are all these places raining?

  • zenn

wowww. first time idioteque hasn’t been played on this tour?

very cool setlist. reckoner –> 2+2 –> paranoid android would be sick! one of the best encores for sure.

  • trojanpony

Muldfeld, the whole pathetic loner bit and saying “fracking” gets old really fast.

  • Lodi

They got to choose a song???

    :cries:

  • trojanpony

oh, paranoid android, not idioteque…i was misled. i’m all sorts of fucked up. i should probably just shutup at this point. and…

    done.

  • k

Definitely in a better mood tonight.

  • xxxccc

Its going to rain tomorrow night too in Auburn. I was really hoping that it wouldn’t since my first show was the legendary flood in Virginia

  • i r guy

i hate it so say it

    i effing love mudfield

  • trojanpony

    which legendary flood in virginia?

  • i r guy

    mulfeld*

  • trojanpony

    nope. still wrong.

  • travis

such a good setlist! bangers is back!

  • Jason

Just got back home from the show…soaking wet, but as always (just like the field day rain-fest) the weather doesn’t matter when Radiohead is on.

Thank you guys for an epic show.

  • Gabriella

It was heaven. I hope they had fun too!!

  • Zach

    they soundcheck “in limbo” too

    ps

    FUCKING AMAZING CONCERT

  • Moi

    They chose PA??? Jeez

  • Chieftain Tony Mews

PA was appropriate for the rain we had tonight.

  • Dom

Bloody good show tonight. They spoiled us with a pair of killer b-sides (i.e. Talk Show Host and Bangers and Mash, the latter with Thom going nuts on the drums).

Hope the band got a good whiff of the BC Bud that went around.

  • http://www.kellyjwyse.com kelly

    Mudfield

  • Victor

In Limbo was soundchecked for at least 10 minutes.

As for the crowd choosing Paranoid Android as the closer, you would definitely had to be there to understand. It was pouring rain and when the “rain down” section came, it was fucking magical.

  • Camy

I really would have rather heard Idioteque, but PA was pretty brilliant too. I swear it was raining even harder during PA and when he got to “rain down”!

Brilliant show and they played a lot of songs that I thought and wanted to hear :D I’m even happier now that I’ve warmed up finally and showered.

  • mike

i think it’s because radiohead shows are just so big, it brings out a certain kind of asshole. like the yankees fan who goes to mets games for the sole purpose of starting a fight. at liberty state park, there was this asshole in front of us the hole show who must have thought everyone came out to see him act like a child, because he made sure that everyone in his vicinity was well aware of his presence. you can’t get away from the singing along unless you’re so close to the pa speakers that you can’t hear the morons around you who came to the concert to listen to themselves sing rather than listen to thom yorke in person. i’ll never figure that out.

  • buymorestufftoweighmedown

Badass set list, and some of Thom’s comments are genius. Also, that’s a lot of Thom speak for one gig. Nice.

  • Jeff

Damn. One of, if not the best setlists of the tour.

  • Mudfeld v2

Hey guys I’ve realized how much of a social retard I was so I shapened up and now I am Mudfeld v2. I still am a social retard, but I’ve learned to shut the fuck up about it because it couldn’t be more obvious that my whiny little “intellectual” comments are not taken seriously by anybody but myself. I like to hear myself talk out of my bunghole. Tweetle-tweet.

  • Eeeek

I love it when Thom gets feisty.

  • Tara

Zomg, Thom said I love you darling to some girl. I’m so fracking jealous. LUCKY GIRL!

  • Danny

Seems like this was a really awsome show. Great set list plus Thom seemed to be extra Talkative. Did Thom really let the crowd choose between Paranoid Android and Idioteque?

  • Tara

What is everybody’s fracking problem here? Muldfeld is awesome.

  • klutch.xls

They were given a choice, and they chose wrong.

    (shakes head)

  • clayton

Should have been a head zone/fan zone for the fans that bought W.A.S.T.E. tickets… Would have put a stop to the retarded roid-monkey moshing going on in the pit.

Thom’s “Take it easy boys… This isn’t Rage Against the Machine” was pretty good though…

  • clayton

Also… What was with all the singing along?

I swear that Thunderbird was extra-full of idiots this time around…

    Should’ve flown out to Montreal…

  • clayton

    Also–

I hope they were recording that video feed for distribution at a later date…

‘Nude’ was just about the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen/heard!

  • http://www.farawayjournal.com kurtvonnegutsson

Thom should have said “Choose wisely” a la the knight from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. And then everyone who chose Idioteque would have disintegrated until all that was left were there Nazi rings (Thom: “They chose . . . poorly.”), while those who chose Paranoid Android would be left with a cupful of everlasting life to bring back to their tragically-shot and dying father (“Junior!”).

  • mickd22

while thom was getting the crowd to choose the final song, i noticed jonny played a riff from a stephen malkmus song for like 4 seconds! awesome

  • Scotty M

There were three people who brought signs to the crowd which was pretty funny cause Thom pointed them out.

A funny part was that one of the signs said “Scott Tenorman must Die!” referring to the South Park episode featuring RadioHead, but Thom said he had no idea who Scott Tenorman was!

Guess he forgot his cartoon fame? lol

  • Nicole

    Was absolutely amazing.

    The rain was perfect.

  • coco chanel

grizzly bear would have been SOOOO much better

    great Radiohead show though

  • ken

i agree that its inconsiderate to talk and/or sing during songs. i’m paying a lot of money to hear RADIOHEAD, not YOU.

  • Angie

Thom talking so much, and an awesome setlist (Talk Show Host?????????????) =( wish i would’ve been there.

  • LostInTheAbsurd

Amazing concert! The ticket was birthday present from friends for me as well.

From Morning Bell all the way to Nude it was a bit crazy on the floor. I guess a bunch of people from the back decided to get to the front by force and since it was so tightly packed it meant a whole wave of pushing back and forth. A lot of people, mostly girls decided they had enough and got the hell out of there. Too bad, it took me out of Morning Bell.

I think Thom made the “beep beep” sound in front of Paranoid Android I don’t know if that’s normal or not.

  • reckoner

Great show! Security fucked up badly.
    The rain was perfect!

  • Ian

Great show. I wished they would have played one more song from The Bends, and dropped the dull, plodding Where I End and the overrated Morning Bell. I’m also a little bit played out on Everything In Its Right Place, to be honest.

However, all 10 songs from the new album were amazing. Stunningly good. 15 Steps was a great opener. The song is OK on the CD, but live it induces goose bumps.

Other highlights included killer versions of National Anthem, Planet Telex, Optimistic, You and Whose Army, 2+2=5, and karma Police.

  • ali

That was just unbelievable. The show I’ve ben to, ever, ever. My first time seeing the band. Highlights for me were a stunning Jigsaw, Planet Telex, House of Cards, Rcekoner, @+2 and Talk Show Host!
Thom was so chatty and seemed to be in a good mood. A few idiots in the crowd but Thom dealt with it well. The crowd was way too pushy, thought I was gonna get crushed a few times but it was all worth it.

Memorable concert. If you’ve to other RH concerts this one was tamed compared to former ones like San Diego 1 in 2006. Thanks RH for an awesome concert. Here is the complete intro (mk3) – 15 Step video. More videos to come. Comment them. Enjoy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yE-V-jnX_qs

  • PC

If you go to a gig and dont want to sing along, you are either stuck up, or a really bad singer.

  • mazzoo

rain made it even more dramatic, when you were looking at all the people towards the end of the show with the reflection and the light… and then Tom said this is the last one, you get to decide… i’m still high [but not dry] thank you guys for playing such a magnificent show!

  • jonofezz

    this was amazing!

Here`s one more from the Vancouver concert. It sounds like angels coming down the sky…

  • Kyle

One of my favorite parts of the concert -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QG7wccEnHd0

  • astarchild

the show was phenomenal and I loved the rain!! Best birthday present ever!! thanks!!!!!!!!

  • JGreenwood=God

Whoa. They didn’t play “Idioteque”. I feel kinda bad for everyone who went to this show. I mean, Radiohead’s awesome no matter what they play because ever song is great, but that’s probably the most fun song you could ever hear live. So energetic.

Oh well, you guys still got an awesome setlist :) . I’d go for this plus “Street Spirit” and “Idioteque”, and if I had to take out something, I guess “Faust Arp,” and “Morning Bell,” but I’d take anything.

And Muldfield is a fucking idiot. I mean, yeah I hate when people randomly scream during the song, but singing along, everyone screaming at the same time, and other stuff like that is the best part of a concert.

I’m anxious for the 25th, when I see them.

  • spike

HAHA this is the best Thom banter ever!

and lettin them choose the final song? awesome!

  • dody

what’s wrong with having a little fun, you sound like emos or gothics, don’t be ridiculous.

  • Jer

We’re Radiohead. We’re from the UK. We brought the weather with us.

Wow, looks like Thom was talking a lot at this show. The guy can be pretty hillarious I have to say.

  • Joe

By the way, this is a concert. Asking people to be %100 silent is just asinine and uptight.

  • MKIII

Thanks for providing some videos Tofuboy. It’s nice to actually see the band for more than a few seconds at a time before someone blocks the view. :p
