Radiohead to webcast Santa Barbara show

Radiohead will be webcasting tonight’s show in Santa Barbara. The show at the Santa Barbara Bowl is the last one of the North American tour.

Earlier today, the band posted hints of an upcoming webcast with info on the ‘usual’ system requirements for the webcast. Later on, Colin Greenwood explained on Dead Air Space:

Hello! To celebrate the end of a brilliant tour, we’re going to webcast the last show here in America. We’ll be playing live in Santa Barbara, at the Bowl. It’s one of our favourite places to play; I think we’ve ended tours there before, once even playing a cover of ‘ cinnamon girl ‘. It’s not too big, in fact it’s very intimate, a small arena with a dirt floor, set in pretty countryside. It should be a special night, for lots of reasons, and we’re going to try and share as much of it as we can on the webcast. Nigel, our producer, will be helping out getting it to you, so if it goes wrong….It’s live!

Thank you so much to everyone who’s come and seen us this year; it has truly been the most special and exciting tour for all of us.

Webcast details to follow…
x

Colin

Just go to the website (radiohead.tv). As long as you have VLC installed it should just start automatically. If you don’t have VLC (a video program) just google it and you can find it. The show just started 15 minutes ago. Hope that helps :)

    Thank You Radiohead!
    see you sometime..i hope

does anyone know what radiohead had playing at the beginning of the cast before they came out???

  • http://www.myspace.com/thebombest thomas a.

I think they should webcast all of their shows from now on. they should play smaller venues and put the video online. no better way to stop the carbon footprint that is made by thousands of people driving to the show. i was a bit disappointed with the video quality. there are some great tools for webcasting now, there is no reason why we can’t have dvd quality video and audio.

  • NemoNusquam

i was there it was my first time seeing them and I was not let down. Kevin they did play a few Flight of the Conchords songs on the pa as people were leaving

There are so a lot of large releases coming to the gaming entire world in the up coming couple a long time that quite a few players are getting to be perplexed and commencing to wonder if they are going to be capable to obtain a console gaming technique in the future that has a remote management at all. The quick solution to this is indeed, the actual question is what that remote will search like and how it will interact with the gaming console. Hardcore video games will under no circumstances give up the remote control totally simply because it presents way to a lot precision and handle that can not be in contrast to any motion primarily based method controls at this position in time.
