The Eraser Remixes now out on CD
The remixes for Thom Yorke’s ‘The Eraser’ were out some time as a digital release as well as on three vinyl 12 inches. A cd release was in the pipeline, but was postponed time after time and cancelled in the end. But the long story took a suprising turn. The cd is out now.
The Japanese release of The Eraser remixes was slated for May, postponed, delayed and cancelled, rescheduled and cancelled again in August, but turned up in October with slightly different titles compared to the releases on other formats. The cover is the same as the orginal The Eraser, but in gold like the 12 inches, taken from Stanley Donwood’s London Views prints. The booklet includes lyrics for all the songs.

I already have the itunes version - But if you were to modify the artwork in anyway, why would you create the lillusion that the CD package had been soaking inside a urinal?

The CD packaging is shiny metallic gold, like the 12″ versions that were released…it’s just a bad photo

I got mine, it is a thing of beauty. That photo doesn’t do it justice.
Order it from Japan, it only took 6 days to arrive to the uk

Usually ordering it directly from a Japanese site (i.e., Amazon Japan) is cheaper, but this time it seems like it comes out to the same price as Amazon USA when you factor in shipping. Bummer. It’s a bit pricy for me given that the first two remixes I heard were a bit out there for me.

Some news:
Radiohead confirmed 2 dates for Mexico City. Tickets when on sale today (Nov 18, 2009). The police estimates that over 1000 people camped outside of the concert’s venue hoping to snatch some tickets.
Most of the concert is sold out. Floor tickets (about 20,000) are completely sold out for both nights!
