Phew!…. well, I listened at it a quite open-minded way, but I must say that Radiohead has been quite mistreated here. In stead of playing equally with the 2 universes, Minty Fresh Beats took Radiohead as a background to Jay-Z’s lyrics and stretched it in all directions & cut & pasted it to make it fit…

I’m not saying it’s necessarily bad, but my Radiohead-fan ears suffered quite a bit…

To Stev: “Change order” is from the Radiohead song “Gagging Order” which is a b-side from the “Com Lag:2+2=5″ album.

surprise! these are great! actually the limited use of Thom’s vocals is right, cause usually these mashups are ruined by following the original songs too much, and Thom’s voice isn’t gonna fit well in a lot of other people’s songs. I don’t need to listen to Thom’s choruses over Jay-Z lyrics, however, it’s brilliant to listen to rapping over Radiohead’s beats, with some minor changes so it’s not too predictable. pretty much all are great+listenable. the only skippy ones are Moment and Paranoid. & this version of Up on the Ladder kills the original Radiohead recording. I just wish someone would do something with Kinetic.

All of you are missing the point of this Album. When Jay makes an album he releases an a Capella version of it so that talented DJs can mix it with other shit. Like this album. It’s been done by DJ Dangermuouse on the The Grey Album too. This is some of the best music I’ve heard. I love Radiohead. And Rap. And Jay. And this is great original well mixed music

i had to listen to change order a few times, but i actually do like it, a lot. its cool that they can do these kind of collaborations. i think it builds both of their fan bases.
