Radiohead are included on the forthcoming ‘2009 Grammy Nominees‘ CD. The compilation album features several nominated artists at this years Grammy Awards.
The band who are nominated for several Grammy awards are included on the CD with ‘House of Cards’. The track from ‘In Rainbows’ is nominated in the ‘Best Rock Performance’ category. The compilation album, which also features tracks by Coldplay, Lil Wayne, Ne-Yo, Alison Kraus & Robert Plant will be out in the US on January 27.
The 20-song collection will be available Jan. 27 and a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the CD will benefit the MusiCares Foundation and the GRAMMMY Foundation, two charitable organizations established by The Recording Academy.
The 51st Annual GRAMMY Awards will be held Feb. 8 at Staples Center in Los Angeles, and will be broadcast live in high-definition TV and 5.1 Surround Sound on the CBS Television Network at 8 p.m. (ET/PT). The show also will be supported on radio via Westwood One worldwide.
