Thom Yorke’s Grammy TV promo now online

As reported earlier, Thom Yorke took part in a promotional campaign for the upcoming Grammy Awards. Last week, we posted the posters used in the print and billboard campaigns. Today, the video has been released.

Evan Greene, Chief Marketing Officer of The Recording Academy said: “This year’s ad campaign brings this idea to life by highlighting the songs that influence and inspire several artists whose music has made a lasting impact on music lovers worldwide”.

This campaign includes TV, out of home, print and interactive advertisements, which are created using song titles that have inspired them in their careers and lives. Watch Thom Yorke’s promo for the Grammy Awards below, in which he refers to seeing the video of David Bowie’s ‘Ashes to Ashes’ which made him decide he wanted to make music for a living.

There´s still people complaining about bands being “commercial”? 90´s are over man…

If band releases something to the public, they are commercial because you can BUY something the´ve done. And the bad thing is…?
