New office chart, Grammy snubs response?

Radiohead are heading for South America and Mexico for their next leg of the World Tour. Thom Yorke is all packed (“having washed me smalls and sort of packed”) and posts a new office chart and maybe a response to the recent Miley and Kanye snubs.

The band have reportedly snubbed two stars at the Grammy’s. Thom Yorke did not respond to Kanye West and Miley Cyrus didn’t get access to the Radiohead dressing room.

In US Weekly, a Radiohead reperesentative said: “When Miley grows up, she’ll learn not to have such a sense of entitlement”. Thom Yorke posted on Dead Air Space: “Wish us all a safe journey if you still like us and you’re not one of those people i have managed to offend by doing nothing xx”

Here’s Thom’s ‘Office Chart for South America’ as posted on Dead Air Space:

  • good, it’s funny how people feel they are being betrayed the longer they lose connection with Thom Yorke, jesus christ. They think he’s selling out, or doing something he shouldn’t, before he gets a say in it. Hasn’t he proven his trust to anyone yet.

  • I completely agree with you Jonathon, I’ve been a Radiohead fan for almost 15 years. People have been trying to bring this band down only because they all know how f’in awesome they are

  • It’s called the backlash response. When a band gets as much critical praise and popularity as Radiohead does there’s bound to be people who will want to bring them down and try to prove that they’re not as good as what everyone says they are. Jealousy, mean-spiritidness, the inflated egos of other bands/artists, and fanboys of other bands/artists who think their hero can’t be topped by anyone, including Radiohead, are the primary culprits who create these backlashes.
