NME have interviewed Radiohead on their return to the Reading/Leeds Festival. The issue is available at UK newsstands tomorrow (April 1).
As announced yesterday, Radiohead will headline the festival for the first time in 15 years. Colin Greenwood told NME: “I was asking Jonny about the last time we played Reading and neither of us can remember it, other than Thom singing ‘Song To The Siren’ (Tim Buckley song) at the start. We didn’t it enjoy it, as Edhas just said to me, but that was as much to do with us. We hadn’t played such a big stage and before and it was daunting, it’s probably why we haven’t been back in a while.”
