Radiohead ended their Short Summer Tour at the Reading Festival last Sunday. The last track played was ‘Everything In Its Right Place’ from Kid A. This time it had a touch of Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
WIth every performance of the Kid A opener you can hear Thom Yorke singing the intro of a the actual song, but also other Radiohead songs and every now and then somebody else’s song, which is recorded on the spot by Jonny Greenwood and then sampled throughout the song. This time the intro was a Yeah Yeah Yeahs cover; ‘Maps’. See and hear it here:
