Thom Yorke has formed a new band with Joey Waronker, Mauro Refosco, Flea and Nigel Godrich. The band are going to play music from Thom’s album ‘The Eraser’ and the recently released tracks. There are two shows scheduled for early October in Los Angeles.
Thom spent some time in Los Angeles for a while now and there was a lot of speculation on what was going on… and now we know. A new band with drummer Joey Waronker, who played on most of Beck’s records. Mauro Refosco did percussion on records by David Byrne and Bebel Gilberto. Flea, the bass player of Red Hot Chili Peppers needs no introduction. And neither does long-time Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich, who also produced Thom Yorke’s releases. The band will be playing live for two shows at the L.A. Orpheum Theatre.

in the past couple of weeks i’ve been getting a band together for fun to play the eraser stuff live and the new songs etc.. to see if it could work!

we don’t really have a name and the set will not be very long cuz ..well …we haven’t got that much material yet!
