Radiohead and Stop Motion videos
Chris Hopewell did a video for Radiohead once, using the stop motion technique. Stop motion (also known as stop-action or frame-by-frame) is an animation technique to make a physically manipulated object appear to move on its own, says Wikipedia.
The video was for Radiohead’s ‘There There’, taken from the band’s 2003 album ‘Hail To The Thief’. But there are plenty of videos around using the same technique and Radiohead’s music. Here’s a selection, just for the fun of it.

FYI a lot of these were from the Aniboom competition to create an animated video to an In Rainbows track (hence some being less than finished).
I took part myself and reached one of the later stages and recognise some of these from there.

There There isn’t stop motion… Sorry guys.
The video was just filmed at a slower frame rate, something like 10 or 15 frames per second instead of 24 or 30. Check Wiki on that.

Stop motion is getting played out of late, just look on youtube to almost any fan-made video. I like the method, but all would-be aspiring directors use it. Just make a straight-forward video please.
